friendly and helpful hotel staff.
it is a walking distance to the Times Square and other shopping mall at causeway bay. The location is very strategic - it's a walking distance to the nearest bus /MRT/ Taxi stop. The hotel is clean

1. Hotel not known to many taxi drivers.
2. This hotel was featured as 4-star, but in actual fact it is a boutique hotel. In the night, we saw several prostitutes hanging around the second floor and you would see men from outside (not hotel guests) entering the lifts.
3. The toilet in the family room is not too appropriate as one could see through the glass.
4. The WIFI reception was bad. No reception at all in the room. You need to sit outside the room for internet reception.

Relatively good
1) convenient location to tourist attractions and local markets; 2) close to bus stops and MTR location; 3) friendly & quick to respond staff
6.3
Room type: Family Room
Occupants: 3 adults (2 parents and myself)
Room Amenities: Air-condition, TV, in-room safe, phone with voicemail, kettle, 2 double beds, free WiFi- connection Terrible.
View: facing Queen Elizabeth Stadium building; away from main roads—quite quiet, which I was happy about.
First Night:
For a family room of THREE occupants, we were only provided with TWO toothbrushes, slippers, complimentary bottles of water and towels, etc!
There was a huge gap between the shower door and the floor, which left a large puddle of water in the room floor. Called the front desk and someone came to have a look within seconds. Housekeeping came in shortly with extra towels to plug the gap + extra slippers, toilet paper (we only had half a roll to begin with), complimentary water bottles, and shampoos/conditioners for the trouble (which we needed as they didn’t give us enough in the first place). But their prompt response and efforts to remediate the situation were appreciated.
Next few days:
Although the beds were made, the sheets were not changed, the toilet paper, tissues, complimentary water and teas never restocked (unless we were down to the last few sheets), AND we continued to receive 2 towels (and 2 of everything) INSTEAD OF 3! We made a call for water and towels (hand towels, face towels, etc) which came quickly. Things didn’t change for the next few days and eventually grew weary of this mundane routine and didn’t bother calling for the towels and water. We just had to make due for the next few days.
Overall, the service was quick and efforts were made to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. However, I would like to see more attention to detail for the housekeeping. The four star hotel is different from what a North American would be used to or would expect. Nonetheless, I thought this hotel was *relatively* good. This is probably as good as it could possibly get considering it’s not a major hotel chain.Thank you. I appreciate the efforts.
