Good location for Wanchai night life

This is a very good value-for-money hotel which is on a free bus route from Hong Kong Central station (H1). There are several good eating places and bars within walking distance
Nightlife Tip:
'The Forest' bar just around the corner has relatively cheap drinks and is a good place to meet the locals

Stayed here after a flight delay caused by a Typhoon. Have stayed in this area for business several times but decided to the the GDH. Can safely say that it was better than my previous experiences in Wan Chai. Staff were efficient & friendly, room was small as expected but reasonable for central Hong Kong. Disappointed free internet wasnt provided but overall hotel stay was good.

good location in wan chai, close to metro station, close to central plaza and convention centre on harbor road. hotel rooms were clean and price is ok. too bad staff was not so helpful when I had to carry a heavy piece of luggage outside and wait for a taxi for 10 minutes (I eventually walked to another place to get one about 200 yards from hotel - probably due to the time at which I was waiting for it). in this type of hotels, staff have service limitations and unfortunately these limitations are quickly reached...
Restaurant Tip:
good lebanese and turkish food in the same street as the hotel. outback steak house a bit slow on service. indian restaurants ok.

great location. very convenient to mtr and wanchai area. staff very helpful. the japanese restaurant is good. my only complaint is ther matresses are too firm for me. bathrooms small but clean. basically has all one might need. will stay again.

The hotel is in a central location and is clean and comfortable. There is a Scottish-themed pub in the basement which has a friendly atmosphere. The location is central and convenient.

the location was diagonally opposite to wan chai mtr station.
i took the mtr to hong kong macau ferry terminal which is at the last stop of island line. the ferry terminal is attached to the mtr station. i got macau free visa on arrival( 30 days for indian national). i returned back to hong kong the same day. i had halal Mc donald fish burger, cheese egg burger & halal chicken tikka biryani from EEbenazeers with is next to the hotel.
Nightlife Tip:
only bars & pub on the street. excellent for nightlife lovers.

Location just about 5 min walk to Wanchai MTR station

The room is rather small. However the room is quite new. The set back is the bed is hard and feel uncomfortable. In conclusion you will stay here if you want to stay near MTR since hotel is very near to Wanchai station.

Hotel is easy to find on the main road. Reception is modern, clean, check in was very simple.
The room was on a high floor so well above any street noise.
Room size reasonable and comfortable for this price range.
Generally clean and well presented. Bathroom adequate with a good shower.
I haver stayed here before and would stay here again.
