Great location but service without smile

I want a double bed but when I arrived, they allocated the room which is two separate bed. Finally I could change the room but in the next day... And we could hear the noise outside the door, not so loud but still a bit disturb. The location is great! I could buy and go the place for sight-seeing convienitly. Next time I may stay here again!

Great location, clean and simple

walking distance to MTR, many bus stations and the Star Ferry. While it is very simple and basic room, it is clean and good value for the price.
It is great for people that come to HK, want t be in the center and use the hotel room for sleep.

There maybe better rooms in hotel but the room we got was very old. Size was normal for hong kong. Chair had large water stain on the back. Linens were clean. Odd thing, hotel staff coming in and out of room. Once for mini bar fill up. Once for house cleaning early morn, which was declined. Then housecleaning at 4:30pm, was surprised it was that late. Makes you think you shouldn't leave anything valuable out. Would look for something newer next time. Location is the best thing though. Good for tourists looking for the nightclub action. Not good for visiting relatives.

I have stayed here many times, the location is the best feature it is surrounded by the best bars and restaurants in Wanchai. The MTR is just down the road and within easy walking distance.
The beds can be a little hard but not too bad we normally get upgraded so that's always nice.
Shopping Tip:
Very good computer market just down the road next to Wanchai MTR exit.

hotel was in a great location in wanchai, just a block or two from the mrt (take exit c2 at the wanchai station).
the hotel is in the middle of an area with some seedy nightlife, but it is easy to ignore if you're not into that kind of stuff. there is also a lot of regular nightlife (bars, etc) in the area.
room was clean, but the bathroom was a little small (probably the norm for hong kong).
recommended.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Get off the airport express train, and get on the free shuttle. The shuttle stops right in front of the hotel, no need to take a cab.

Really liked the location of this hotel- close to the MTR and with resturants and bars within a short walk. The hotel was clean and the room was in good condition although we could smell smoke in the corridor and our room.

Very noisy and poor service

The location is good for access to the Exhibition Centre, MTR, ferry etc. However, if you are in a room on the front of the building, it is very noisy at night. It is also in a red light district. The service in the hotel leaves a lot to be desired; I had to argue long and hard to get our room changed from a smoking room at the front (which I did not book) to one at the back of the hotel. Not good.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you do stay here insist on a room high up on the back of the hotel.
