Clean, Simple and Comfortable

Great location, just a short walk from the MTR and close to the HK Convention Centre. The room is small, but normal for Hong Kong. The service is friendly and efficient. It’s a great place to enjoy a good night’s sleep after enjoying all of what Hong Kong Island has to offer.
Nightlife Tip:
Start your evening just around the corner at Delaney's Irish Bar. Talk to the people on the street and ask them were to go from there. You won't be disappointed! http://www.delaneys.com.hk/

everything was very nice. there are alot of places to eat and drink around the area in wanchai. bars are open late. the room is good and spacious. the pool is in a separate building but it is also very convenient and nice. i would certainly consider staying at this hotel again because the price is good and the rooms are clean.

i arrived early 9am so had to wait 2 hours for room which is ok!also they allowed late checkout. hotel got gym/healthclub but got to walk outside the main bld but still its worth it! overall would recommend!! good stay for single travellers not for family !

once again i stayed at wharney guang dong hotel in wanchai, hong kong. the stay was just what i expected. rooms are reasonably sized and finally they added safes in the rooms. i can only recommend this hotel for it's location, vicinity of mtr and nightlife. on my next visit to hong kong i will again stay at wharney guang dong hotel.

Hotel is definitely right in the heart of Wan Chai's entertainment district. Be prepared for busy nightlife, and lots of people, especially on the weekends. That being said, the hotel room was surprisingly quiet, very clean and secure. The staff were helpful,friendly & flexible (we appreciated the late check-out of 2pm) We felt we received overall good value.
Travel tip:
Easy to get around the city from this location. Subway closeby, taxis easily available. Nice coffee shop located a few stores down, on the same side of the hotel, with free computer access. Note: Hotel doesn't provide free wi-fi unless staying on the executive level.
