Very Good Hotel
Very clean, easy to find, centrally located

This hotel was a great place to stay. The subway station was very close. The area had many places to eat and had an extensive nightlife. There are also a lot of expats in this area.round the city yet the city buses have wifi for free. This would not keep me from staying here again though.

We just needed a cheap place to stay overnight in Hong Kong while waiting for a flight out the next morning and the price was right at the Wharney. It was located well so that taxis were easy to get and there were plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The neighborhood is a little wild, so it may not be a good place for families with young children.

though i was alone when i stayed on this hotel i never felt bored because i was close to the entertainment where i can have fun by myself.wharney guandong hotel is one of the nice hotels that i've been stayed at during my vacation.im looking forward to stay again here soon.

This was my third time staying at the hotel and probably the most enjoyable yet. With the hotel being right in the center of town everything is close, espicially the MTR. This MTR can take you anywhere you need to go. This time I was off to Lantau Island to see the GIANT Buddha. This thing is amazing. Please do not miss this if you have 5 hours to soend on tourism. You will not be dissapointed.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Giant Buddha is a most see.

The hotel is located in the middle of Wanchai and surrounded by a lot of bars, restaurants and night clubs. You can also find the 7eleven and other conveniences just in a walking distance.
There are also a lot of stores and malls within just 10-20 min walking. But if you don't like walking, you can take the Tramways (http://www.hktramways.com) just 2 blocks far of your hotel. These buses cost only, and can take you to most of the places you need to go in the Island.
Go to "Dr Mobile" at 50 Johnston Rd to get all kind of mobiles very cheap and if you need a custom shirt, drop in "Graly Shirtmaker" at 13 Lun Fat St.
The staff try to give you all that you request but since they don't smile too much, you may have the impression of they don't like doing that for you.

The stay was excellent the location wise was very close to the market and business area. is even close to the subway station.

I booked at the hotel for the convenience of being close to the Convention Center. But the hotel is situated in the red area district and in the middle of all the night clubs. It was very noisy until late into the next morning. At times until 4 or 5 o'clock. For this reason I will not stay at this hotel again or make any referrals.
The corridors smells of smoke after I have requested a non-smoking room and it was very unpleasant.
The cleaning staff was one of the benefits the hotel have to offer and they are very friendly.

Again very comfortable, staff very efficient with check-in which was good as it was a late arrival. Free upgrade given for the first time in over 10 visits was appreciated. Again breakfast service very poor and now use local coffee shop in Jaffe street. Fitness room seems to have been neglected of late although staff still helpful.
