I was pleased with my stay overnight. Very close to the bus stop for A-11 from airport and can take E11 back. No major issues except they charge a lot for wifi....which should be free in this age and time. Do not pay for it, you can access other net works free!

The Wharney GDH is about 50m from Wan Chai MTR station and right in the middle of a vast array of bars on Lockhart Road. This is both a good and bad thing as although Wan Chai's a great location to base yourself, it's generally a pretty seedy area.
Instead of the Airport Express train I took a bus from the airport. The journey took around 40 minutes and dropped me two minutes from the hotel for $45.
The rooms in the hotel itself are small but clean and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were swift and efficient.

The hotels onyl advantage is being in the middle of the night life of Hong Kong. There are many bars and night clubs just a few steps close to the hotel. If you are looking for asian women you will even find on the street or rihgt next door to the hotel :) but the hotel is not clean. If you care about the cleaning you should stay in an other hotel. When I go to Hong Kong next time. I sure will stay in Wan Chai area but I absolutely will book another hotel with similar price.

This hotel was fine for a short stay. It was in a good location for business on HK island. The hotel was quite busy so we did not get a great deal of service from the staff. The hotel was cheaper than others in the area but breakfast and internet were not included, the room was nothing special and the pool was closed. I would stay here if it was a short stopover and if I wasn't planning to spend much time in the hotel room.

If you are attending a convention at the HK Convention Centre, this hotel should be one of your top picks. It's smack dab in the middle of the bar scene - you'll run into scores of expats with SE Asian working girls, but it felt like a very safe area. Very close to MTR station for mobility.

A great hotel located in the center of the entertainment district of wan chai in the heart of the Hong King island side of the city, one block from the MTR subway station of Wan chai and easy transportation via train or taxi to anywhere, just down the block and down stairs from the upper Causeway Bay disrict very close to everything. Hotel has many of the normal amentities that you wold expect from a 4 star hotel of this type, nice off-season rates during september from Agoda as well.

we love our stay in this hotel, although is not a comfortable huge room, but is HK area.
as soon as we walk out the hotel, everywhere is busy, shops and food is just everywhere.
Shopping Tip:
shopping in HK is great. Zara is good price and nice design in HK.

i think this wud be the best deal you cud get for hongkong if you are travelling for business and some nighlife.as hongkong is expensive so it is gud to stay close to restaurants,pubs,bars etc .
Shopping Tip:
if you are a shopaholic and a brand freak make sure you visit ifc mall and you will get the worlds best brand over here.
