- It's located downtown and just a three-minute walk from the Wan Chai MTR station, so it's really convenient.
- The price is reasonable.
- The front desk receptionist is quite helpful.
- The room was tidy and clean.

Even the receptionist was friendly and helpful but not all the staff there were like that. I stayed there for one night just two days before Christmas. The hotel was fine and the location is good, but the surrounding is not really pleasant because there are many bars and pubs nearby.
Shopping Tip:
If you fancy some special experience, you must not miss Mongkok.

A nice hotel and roomy for Hong Kong standards. But I was booked into a smoking room. Getting the staff to change room after checked in was near impossible. Luckily, the smell wasn't too bad. Really noisy at night with loads of activities on the street level, imagine trying to sleep with those noise levels (I stayed on 10th floor!)

Staff are able to assist guests in all way as in needs and doubts. Hotel also makes tourists journey more convenient by having several counter selling tickets to several crowded hot spot such as Disney Land, and also provide tour guide for the tourist who are not able to EXPLORE Hong Kong by themselves.

I'm Basically happy with the customer service of this hotel because of their efficiency, On the first night itself i encounter a disturbance during night time, on the second day i made a complaint, without hesitating, the customer service personnel allow us to change the room with complementary gift. Check in time was not accurate. As i check in (for 2 rooms), there's only one room available and waited for 2 hours (until 2.30pm) for the second one. They should improve their check in and check out system. As i mentioned in the CONS coulomb, There are 2 types of rooms which offer at the same rate, old type of room is little bit too old especially on the toilet facilities. new rooms are way more comfortable. They should provide a water pipe at the toilet bowl area as some of the guest needs it. Bravo to all of their staff as they serve guests politely and honestly. they work Fast, Accurate and Polite which i really appreciate that.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take a short walk to place near harbour to see the night view of the other side of the island (Tsim Sha Tsui). Or walking towards the Electric Tram Station at Wan Chai there's market from morning to evening to see and buy some local delicate.

A convenient hotel
Very close to the Wanchai Metro station and to the Victoria habour.The price is reasonable.

The lobby is pretty and the staff there are nice, but I hope that they could smile more and give the information the tourists need more voluntarily.It's extremely convenient from the hotel to the metro station thus very easy to get around.Generally, it's good for the tourists and business men to stay while choosing a hotel.
Shopping Tip:
You can get easy access to Causeway Bay or any other shopping center with the metro.

Noisy night
Location who want to go to Shenzhen since there is 24 hour operating border crossing service.

It is located in the middile of bar street so it is very noisy all night long and until early in the morning since it is located near bars. So it is not suitable for people who want to have a peaceful night. In addition, the room I got has an ugliest view I have ever got in HK so far.
Furthermore, there is no any other facilities such as gym, spa or swimming pool.

Flying Pan (located 20 yards away on the corner, up on the 3/F) for breakfast or those who want breakfast 24/7. great value and real set you up for the day

Lights out in the Wharney

Upon check in I was notified the power would be turned off for up 5 hours during the night. I was not happy since I was not told this when I made the reservation. I was not happy, but since I could not change the reservation without losing my payment. The hotel manager said she would "walk" me to another hotel, but didn't know which hotel I would be sent to. I choose not to go, I should have taken her offer. The elevators worked when I returned to the hotel, but the power was off in my room. This is included the air conditioning. In the middle of the night the power came on and every light in the room came on as well as the TV, not the way I wanted to wake up or the time of day. I was very disappointed in the way this was handled to say the least.
Nightlife Tip:
There is abundant restaurant choices and nightlife close to this hotel.

Having stayed in HK at least 30 times over the last few years I've stayed at quite a few hotels.
I actually thought this one was ok. Was it the JW or the Ritz? No, but then again it was fit for purpose.
My purpose? Business with a little leisure/shopping for the girl. I didn't want to eat or drink in the hotel - so can't comment on this - plenty of that on the hotels doorstep in any case.
The hotel is smack bang in the middle of Wan Chi so easy to either get around HK or go out in Wan Chi itself, LKF or anywhere else. Shopping is on the doorstep so its perfect for anyone looking for a short stay.
In terms of Quality, the hotel was good value, Yes, the room was typically small as per the HK standard, but since this is par for the course, not exactly a negative.
I'd rate it as being similar to the perfectly decent Empire, although I'd personally give Empire the edge (2 mins walk away).
Bottom line, I checked in and out with ease, my stay was uneventful (Apart from a scheduled power cut that the hotel managed very well), there were no issues and the concierge was very helpful.
Worth the money!

When I went there the weather wasn't good so I suggest bringing an extra coat. I liked the interior of the hotel. It was clean and the staff was friendly to me. I would want to stay in this hotel again! The area wasn't too shabby so it was okay to walk around at night. This is a hotel you might wanna try to stay; feel for it yourself, really.
