Great Location Great Hotel
In the middle of Wan Chai nightlife
9.7
I have stayed here several times. Everything works and everyone is very helpful, sometimes too helpful, and many to most speak English. The rooms are of a large size on Hong Kong standards. Lots of hot water, extremely good air con or heater. The breakfast set up is second to none, even a 5-star hotel. You just walk out the front door and you are in the centre of Wan Chai night life with bars etc within 10m. All night disco <100m to the right on same side of the road. The Hotel is in a great location and as yet the prices have not spiked.
Nightlife Tip:
It is just outside the hotel door. The nightlife here is both up market and a bit seedy. But it is not in your face unless you look like you are looking for the seedy side. Lots of great water holes and small restaurants.

Outstanding off-season deal
This is a class hotel that can offer good off-season rates

this is the second time we've targeted this hotel in the off-season, and again were very pleased. actually had 1 business meeting at the hotel, which worked out fine. well-appointed room was large, by hk standards. will stay again (off-season).

Great Location
Well Run, efficient and clean.
8.3
very convenient to get to via the free bus service from the central station. right in the middle of the night time action and central to the day time business.
rooms are on the small side, and prices fluctuate with what is on at the time. but the rooms are very clean and well tended.
very helpful porters and concierge.

i've stayed at the wharney guang dong a few times over the past few years and would be happy to recommend it assuming you get the right price. the location is great for access to the business district (tram and train) , night life, dining and shopping. staff here arent the friendliest but they are professional and efficient, particularly at processing a large number of guests. rooms are okay for the price and i would stay again at the right price.
Shopping Tip:
Take a tram or train (only one stop) to Causeway Bay for plenty of shopping nd dining options.

Well located and nice stay, near to all.
En genera all well; good breakfast.
8.7
I think is important to have a latch when you have a internal doors, they have not option to close door comunicating with other rooms.
Easy to go airport because of free shuttle exactly there.
Many restaurants around.
