Hotel is nice, clean, staff friendly and helpful. Rooms are anyway very small, but this is Hong Kong. Only problem was to get two simple beds instead king size whereas was booked one month before. In overall a good deal.

My stay at Wharney Guang Dong is short, but convenient. In transit through Hong Kong, it is a quick taxi from Central. The staff provides me with a very nice room, and it is easy to travel in and out of Hong Kong at this location.
Nightlife Tip:
In this area, there are many good restaurants, whether simple or expensive.

I stayed at the Wharney Guangdong Hotel for three nights and had everything that I needed during my stay.
The room was small, but this is to be expected in Hong Kong, and as a single traveller I didn´t mind. The internet connection was a lot better than what I was used to from 5-star-hotels in mainland china. I was surprised to see that the bathroom had a bathtub, but only a soap dispenser instead of shampoo/shower gel bottles.
Breakfast was good, western-style and chinese was offered. The staff was helpful, friendly and their english is great.
Another plus is the location of the hotel. Bars, restaurants, shopping malls and the star ferry pier are all within walking distance. Because the hotel is located near a lot of bars and restaurants, it can get a little noisy during weekend evenings.
Anyway, can´t complain!

Okay hotel in a seedy area

Great location if you're a lonely man looking for company - the hotel is located next to a strip of girly bars. Definitely not for families or girlfriends traveling together. The hotel itself is serviceable - clean room, tidy bathroom, etc. Staff could be friendlier. Best part about staying here was its proximity to the MTR.

central location in island wan chai district. close to bars, nightclubs and restaurants.
free wifi, good size rooms and facilities, especially for the price.
Travel tip:
Book the hotel airport bus 24hr in advance if require it.

Great value in the heart of the city

This is a large hotel. Not new but in decent condition.
The staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of restaurants
And night life nearby. Great kabob stand around the corner.
Breakfast was only so so. My room had view of the side of a
Building but was really quiet. My 3 nights stay were pleasant.
Travel tip:
Get an octopus card for traveling around the city

room small. not much local foods. no 24hrs room service. no local tours. lots of pubs. all walking distance. near the wancai mtr. that's great. save money. services in hotel vey moderate.
Nightlife Tip:
many great pubs here. come down to drink until you are drunk.... there are less local foods. no local tours. swimming pool area is too small. very dissapointed. you can try the local cable train "ding ding train" for a flat fees of hkd $2.3. GREAT VIEW, sit upstair. also the pubs near hotel, they preffer foreigners(western) people. that makes angry.
