the rooms are small, the photos do not reflect the room i stayed in, cleanliness is also an issue and the beds were like sleeping on the floor.. it was hard and lacked all bed qualities. however i have to say the customer service was good and the location was really good for a business traveler as i was in the heart of all my meetings. i normally stay on the kowloon side, and this was my first time on the hong kong side, i liked it very much as it was much less crowded at all times than being on kowloon. i would definitely not stay in this hotel again, but will be staying somewhere else in the area if i were to return.

this is the second tim i have stayed in the hotel. it has a great location for those that plan on enjoying the night life situated in the middle of wanchai. the room was basic but clean the checkin and checkout was fast.

bringing in an employee to hk and wanted to stay in wan chai. always attracted to this hotel by its cool lobby... rooms we tired and in need of renovation... maybe hey have rooms that have been renovated, but mine was certainly not ............

I always stay at Wharney when visiting Hong Kong.Its very convenient to Mtr and all the interesting sights ,sounds and smells of Wanchai.Would recommend for lone businessman .Area is not really suitable for children as the entertainment is geared towards adults.Great kebab at ebeneezers around the corner !!
Nightlife Tip:
avoid the offers of cheap beer in the girly bars....never cheap!!

Hotel Advertisement photos on web misled reality

Disappointed by hotel room size and amenities. Room size too size. No shampoo and conditioner provided. Hotel claimed 3 in 1 shower gel only.
The advertisement photos on web enlarges a lot of the actual size. The exterior hotel outlook photo is even not showing the right one. Overall, it is a 2-3 stars hotel rating rather than 4 stars.
Nightlife Tip:
Located at a centre of red light district, not recommend to hae children around in night time.

This hotel will be probably good for the young people or for those who likes night life as there are lots of night clubs and pubs around.
If I would have to go there agin with my family, I would probably choose some other Hotel with better view and less noise.

I stayed here after staying in the superior room. Exec room is not much different, slightly bigger and better bathroom fitting. Bed is similar to that of the superior room.
Didnt try the lounge. Overall, it's a good hotel and price is reasonable. Convenient location.
