- the hotel is well located close (5 min walk) to wan chai mrt station, 2 win walk from a11 (airport bus service) and located at a place where you will have all cuisines in the world (veg, non veg, indian, chinese, italian, western...)
hotel service can be improved to make guest comfortable.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
It is 10 min walk to Hong Kong convention and exhibition center, Causeway Bay shopping area and 5 min walk to Wanchai Market.
- The Hotel is well located close (5 min walk) to Wan Chai MRT station, 2 Win walk from A11 (Airport Bus Service) and located at a place where you will have all cuisines in the world (veg, non veg, Indian, Chinese, Italian, western...)
You can travel to any part of Hong Kong by all transport modes from this place.

The hotel location is good as just only few minutes walk to subway entrance and on the walking distance to Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition center but as many people already commence, this hotel is right in the middle of red light district.There are so many pub and bar that may be a bit noisy at night. Hotel staffs are good and helpful. You can take airport express shuttle bus that stop right in front of hotel. Room is small just like Hong Kong style but clean and convenience enough.Wi-fi is free.

Nightlife Tip:
Good for adult men to travel around at night, but not good for ladies and children

Great Friendy Hotel

Over a period of 2 weeks I stayed on 3 separate occasions and in total 6 nights and found Hotel to be very friendly with refined service. Whilst staff may appear like any other Hotel regarding their knowledge of your existence, I found them to be well aware of whom you were even down to remembering your room number on occasions. I have stayed at this Hotel before and it appears that the Management and staff must be congratulated on performing that extra step in personal service which you find lacks in many Hotels. Apart from great location for nearby activities it is not far from Central and therefore has easier access to all activities the island offers. I will be definitely making the Wharney Hotel my number one choice Hotel on Hong Kong island.
Nightlife Tip:
Nearby Activities being a great selection of Bars including excellent live bands.

I had a good stay .Nice clean room which was a good size all pretty new through out hotel .Breakfast was good nice mix of western food and asian .
The hotel is just a short walk to the subway station and only a few stops to the city.

i regularly travel to hong kong on business and this was my first stay at the wharney guang dong hotel. overall i was pleased. the hotel is in a busy stretch of wanchai with many bars and restaurants and is in a convenient location for travel to central to conduct business of catch the express train to the airport. in hk, most rooms in this price range are tiny, but here the room was a reasonable size. the bed is quite hard but that's usual for china. i saw reviews that commented on noisy groups of tourists from the mainland, but i was not disturbed.

nothing bad to say about this hotel, very easy to get to from the airport by train. great price and decent sized rooms.
