having stayed at the wharney about 8 times over the past 3-4 years i have found it to be a nice property with very well priced accom and decent to very nice rooms. very close to central where the accom is considerably dearer. am a repeat customer and will return there on my next trip to hk.

We found this hotel on Agoda and this hotel so amazing. The room was large, clean and special spacious toilet ( many hotels in Hongkong the toilet so small).
Staff are helpful and serve you with smile, strong wifi signal to help me working at night easy. Will be back hotel next time for sure.

really enjoyed the time in hong kong and appreciated the swimming pool as it was extremely hot in the summer. will stay here again!
Nightlife Tip:
The local Phippino bands in the Wanchai district make the nightlife very entertaining for couples. You can go dancing and have fun with lots of people.

Right in the heart of it all in Wan Chai
Great location, clean room, free bottled water each day, free WIFI. Would stay here again !

room was a little tired, but clean and fully functional.
2 bottles of water each day with cleaning was a bonus.
free wifi worked very well and fast.

Nightlife Tip:
Try 'Escape' behind the hotel in the late hours of the night for an interesting and fun drink

Convenient Location, in the middle of Wanchai

Not a child friendly location, but very convenient for business and shopping on Hong Kong Island. I wouldn't give it a 4 star but a very comfortable 3 star. Friendly and helpful staff, buffet breakfast was very average.

small 'basic' hotel at central hong kong location

the hotel is at the main road of wanchai which is good for business traveller, but not for family trips as many bars at nearby, and at late evening, we can easily pass few drunk peoples.
very close to central (most offices) and causeway bay (shopping areas), just right in front of hotel has 7 11 shop, which open till very late.

service was reasonable, hotel amenities were good, decor was well maintained and location was ideal (5 minutes from Chinese Visa office).
