Good service, Lovely hotel. Its very comfortable & the food & bar are great too.

This was the second time I've stayed at this hotel. It's pretty cheap & the hotel is great. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff are friendly & helpful. The location is a little out of the way but its cheap to grab a taxi and the hotel has regu;ar shuttles around town.

Hotel Jen Hong Kong
Comfortable rooms and facilities.
7.7
I have stayed at the Hotel Jen Hong Kong seven or eight times over nearly twenty years, in that time the hotel has had three different names. Hotel Jen is situated in Western District on Hong Kong Island about two kilometres from Central District. The hotel provides a shuttle bus service, while public buses run along the same street and trams are less than 200 metres away. Taxis which are very cheap are plentiful. Some people may feel the location to be a little isolated, but I much prefer Western District to the crowds of Kowloon and Nathan Road. It is so much more pleasant not to be pursued by so called tailors trying to sell me several suits. The Jen was renovated around two years ago, the rooms are now a reasonable size and quite comfortable. The breakfast is quite adequate, the only critiscism I could make is that the lifts can be rather slow. The staff are very helpful.

Hotel Jen -- Wow !!
Excellently designed room in utilizing the limited space. Well trained staff at the front desk, restaurant and the Sky Lounge. Near the tram stops and bus routes. Excellent value for the money. Comfortable bed.

We booked a harbor view room when Agoda offered it at 40% discount ( excellent deal!!). Our room on the 20th floor is quiet. The harbor view through the middle window pane is impressive even though it is partially blocked by the high rise condos on the left and right. The contemporary design of the room makes excellent use of space and makes its appearance bigger than its actual size. The staff ( especially Andrea) at the 28th floor is well trained, friendly and professional. The happy hour at Sky Lounge offered unlimited wine, beer, fresh juice, coffee and tea everyday between 6pm and 8pm. The view at night is breathtaking. We like the location of the hotel off the typical tourist's beaten path. We enjoyed the quiet room and the Sky Lounge after a busy day of shopping and sightseeing. There are many local restaurants nearby to explore for the adventurous minded and KFC, 7-11, Pizza Hut and McDonald for those who want their comfort food fix. We were so impressed with the added value of the hotel that our aunt staying at another hotel in Kowloon paying twice as much wanted to switch but could not because Hotel Jen was fully booked!! We plan to return next year and stay at Hotel Jen again!!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The tram stops are only one street north of the hotel towards the harbor. It only cost HK$2. Any eastward bound tram will connect you to the Sheung Wan MTR station. The westward bound tram listed as Whitty Street and Shek Tong Tsui will stop at the terminal near the hotel. Passenger on the one listed for Kennedy Town will need to get off either before or right after the Hill Road flyover and take a 3 minutes walk back to the hotel.

Hotel Jen
the view over the harbour, breakfast in the sky lounge, rooftop gym and pools were very nice
7.7
For the price my wife and I paid we found that the hotel was of a high standard, all the staff were very helpful and most spoke adequate english. The rooms were as we expected, small but comfy and clean. the breakfast was adequate though seemed to finish early and in the sky lounge was often needing replenishment. a few moans but overall we had a very pleasant seven night stay .
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
An early morning walk to watch the locals performing there martial arts

Our Jen Room was really nice, so worth of every penny. Jen Room includes breakfast, which is ok. You can have breakfast buffet at top floor which is more private or go to the 2nd floor where is the "public" breakfast buffet. Private buffet has less options, but also less people so you can eat more privately.
Travel tip:
Cheap laundy service right across the street and lots of food shops close!

Hotel Jen, Hong Kong
Executive rooms
Special lounge area for Executive rooms
Sea view
Swimmig pool

Hotel Jen is situated in a convenient area of Hong kong. The room was well designed with a lovely sea view. It had a Double bed with nice white linen. I enjoyed breakfast on the 58th floor which was exclusive to Executive rooms. Free internet use was an advantage. The only thing that could be improved would be to heat the swimming pool. The swimming pool for me was a big selling point but it was too cold at a temperature of 18 then two days later down to 13 degrees.

This would have to be the best hotel we have stayed in Hong Kong by far!!!
The staff were very helpful the hotel was spotlessly clean the beds so comfortable and a fab outlook. The shuttle was a bonus, the resturant excellent, breakfast buffet had everything you could want. Our rooms were a good size with nice tea and coffee facilities catering for our western teas ect. The tram was just a step away so this hotel met all our expectations and more. We will definitely book again.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you are staying in HK for an exhibition the hotel seems to run daily shuttles for these such a bonus
