Second stay in Hotel Jen
Nice, clean and quiet. Stall are friendly and helpful.
7.7
This is our second pleasant stay in Hotel Jen. The Hotel is nice, clean and quiet. Staff is friendly and helpful. On our last day we checked out, leaving our heavy luggage at the Hotel and went for an overnight trip to Macau. Came back the next day, picking up the luggage and head for the airport.

Nice, but...
Clean modern room
Friendly service
Shuttle avilable
7.3
I lucked out and caught the shuttle just as it was leaving HK station. However, to get to the main areas using the buses proved confusing. The shuttle is good but only runs ever hour or two hours. One one of the days there was a typhoon warning so the shuttle did not operate. However this meant that I had to rely on taxi drivers - not bad at all, they all seem to speak at least some English (and are honest unlike some other cities in Asia).
Staff were all friendly, rooms clean, nice bathroom, modern flat screen. Will recommend if you don't mind spending a bit of extra time to get to CWB, TST etc.
Travel tip:
Try the taxis, it's not so bad.

The Jen is a gem!!
Modern, feels like real traditional Hong Kong..
9
Our first stay since it changed from Novotel. The pool is awesome, beds so soft. Great Dim Sum restaurant across the road, and Japanese down the other way all within walking distance. Staff extremely helpful, hotel shuttle. Interesting shops around - clothes, fresh food mall, computer shops. Will definitely always return, absolutely no negatives!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Use the tram it is so easy, you are either going right into Hong Kong or back home, makes you experiene a little more. MTR station comming soon. SEafood Street within walking distance.

Hotel Jen
It's in a good location, but you have to use tramp in order to get into central area.

The price for room with breakfast is not that expensive since you get $HK 100 rebate per night and able to use executive lounge with free bar during 6t-8 pm.

Good value for money
Good location, clean, bright light through a big window in any room. Very easy to get taxi from there.
Good value for money.
Nice facilities, great view from swimming pool on the top floor.
6.7
The location is good but there is no transports except some bus. Easy to get taxi.
The hotel is nice, with a swimming pool and gym on the roof top that offers a beautiful view to the sea and islands around.
The staff was not particularly friendly but this is something common in Hong Kong.
Few things annoyed me such as having a twin bed room that I couldn't change (you don't usually give twin bed room to a single person).
Also, one staff went in my room while I was sleeping to clean it, and I had carefully left the button on 'Do not disturb'! She apologysed but I didn't like that at all.
No free internet (count 8 dollars an hour!!).
It is still a very nice place to stay and not so expensive for HK!
Travel tip:
Ask for a one big size bedroom in advance if you travel alone, you might end up having a twin bed that you can't change!

hassle free. like the many non-smoking floors available.
7.3
I like the hassle free check in. Do not 'disturb' you during stay. Room are well stock up with the mini-bar, iron and ironing board etc. We can make-use of all the facilities and not 'bother' the staff with those nitty-gritty problems about the room.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Market, supermarket and fast food joints within walking walking distance.

Good hotel
New, modern, stylish, comparatively cheap, roof swimming pool, free shuttle to MTR, Central, Admiralty
8.7
Very good hotel. Cosy room (standard), excellent bed and bed linen, convenient bathroom with all you need, kettle, free safe, flat TV, hair dryer, air con a little bit noisy. Would definitely choose again

Nice hotel but ...
Cheap, nice & clean , provide free shuttle service to various places.
7.3
Like the hotel but not the location. The nearest MTR is quite far from the hotel.
