With minimum maintainance and no signboard

Access to room a bit unsafe as only one small lift operational to cater many clients to a many other hostel in the same apartment....
Facilities to public transport is nearby..
Though room quite small but has a homely features..
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Easy access to nearby shopping heaven and good public transport
like the subway and buses is abundance..just need a few knowledge on stopping area..

Great location but dirty premises, 1-star B&B
smack in the heart of tsim sha tsui district, next to the mtr station and key bus station for the airport, next to holiday inn for free airport shuttle to kowloon station for airport express

i would not stay there again simply because the hostel is in a rundown building given the misnomer mirador mansion --- garbage in the hallways are a turn-off. however, it was convenient place for us to dump our stuff as we spent the whole day outdoors. no chairs in the room - good for backpackers.
Travel tip:
Octopus cards are the way to go! You can use them anywhere and it's easy to top up. Eating the local food is good, too, because not only is it cheap but quite tasty if you choose the right place.

We were suprised to see that the hotel room wasnt bad at all despite the outlook. We were there for just a night while waiting for the next flight to Detroit, MI and therefore it met our expectations.

near mtr and shopping complexes

kinda shocked for the first impression...because it's in a old building. by the way, feel quite convenience with the room as we can use the wifi easily, and it is near the mtr station.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Dont expect HK's rooms are big..haha

great location but small rooms. light rail service entrance just downstairs only. the room and the bath room is very small as is only budget hostel but were value for the price. recommend for solo traveler or back packer who only have tight budget on accommodation.

I've stayed at Chonkin Mansion before. USA Hostel is in a building near there. Very similar hostel, but UAS is much better! It has a room for keeping luggage after check out. So kind. Somebody told it is hard to find, but very easy to find for me. Just use the nearest elevator from the entrance.

had a lovely stay - no communal area which was a downer for a solo traveller, but room was fine - small but clean. very good location, easily walkabe to most areas including the star fery/tst nightlife etc.
mirador mansions much nicer than chungking mansions.
mtr very close, good bus service, and a short walk to the holiday inn, where the free airport express shuttle bus goes from! perfect!
Restaurant Tip:
tim ho wan's in yau ma tei. google it, visit and stuff yourself silly with delicious food!
