No frills but value for money

The hotel is a serviced-apt no frills style. Great large rooms and quite comfortable. Had a few hiccups - like the fire department showing up due to steam in the shower - but all in all an easy place to stay.

In the heart of Wan Chai, not far away from MTR and Ferry Piers this Boutique Hotel made my stay in HK pleasant. The rooms are big for HK hotel standards and very bright (full-size windows). The elevator could be faster and the sofa in the room should not have stains from previous guests. In total a good hotel for short-stay or business trip.

Main complaint was the strong moldy smell in the room. I complained but apparently nothing was done to change the situation. Most likely this was due to mold in the construction material, perhaps the stucco like walls of the room. The air from the a/c was less moldy. As hotel was fully booked, they did not change my room. If I was less busy with work, I would have left after one night.
