It was a great time there. The room and Hotel is incredible design with a purple building in the heart of HK island.
Very convenient transportation : you can take taxi, subway or boat to Tsim sa sui. And all stuff are so kind and helpful.

The hotel was a little hidden and relatively new so not many taxi drivers knew where it was. But it's easily found if you have a map, and only a 5-10 minute walk from Wanchai MTR. It's close to the main roads so you can hop on a bus or tram too. The room was really spacious, comfortable and well planned. It had all the usual amenities (i.e. safe, iron + board, hangers) and had a kitchenette with electric stove, a microwave, pots, pans, plates, bowls, glasses, cutlery, etc. It was more like a service apartment. Do not expect much for the continental breakfast. There are better bkfast places nearby. All in all, we were very pleased with V Wanchai.

I was moved to V2 up the road, and even better
The upgrade to a deluxe: large comfortable room, great TV, bathroom and helpful staff.

There was an error booking in the Jaffe Road branch so I was moved to the V2 down the road, and given an upgrade for my trouble. Everthing was handled well, and the V2 is better I think than the V (which I've used regularly). The V2 is more attractively appointed, and is closer to the MTR (subway), trams, busses and overhead walkway.
The room is really good, especially at this price, and I recommend the V or V2 to anyone.
