Room is too small, but the service is nice.they don't provide the dryer if you didn't request.but after calling the front desk.they just have the waitress send it to my room immediately.Nice service. You can have your breakfast in the room and see the ocean view at the same time.....

Very nice seaview, new room decorations
Very nice and romance hotel for couples. Far away from busy & crowd city then go to the relaxing place. You can walk around the streets, taste Cheung Chau special food, sun bathing and see the sun raising @hotel. Whatever you are going to celebrate any special day with your lover, it is highly recommended.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : beach

Really nice location, the room has a balcony overlooking the beach and the ocean.
Easy walking distance from the ferry port
The swimming pool was closed during my stay there.
I came to Warwick hotel to get away from the big city and relax.
I find the island very peaceful as there are no motor vehicles allowed on the island (with the exception of government vehicles.
I didn't go in peek time so I had the beach to myself most of the time.
The hotel is located by the largest and most popular beach on the island which has many water sports available during peek season.
Restaurant Tip : There are many good chinese and sea food restaurants by the port with out door seating, I ate around there most nights.

Stayed with my love on 7/12/2008 for 1 night at the Ocean View Room, Love the view of Easy Bay beach from the room balcony, and room-service breakfast at the room. Staff are helpful and nice.
Request a late-check out, asked the staff during check-in for when is the latest time for checking-out, but the staff said I have to call the reception on 8/12/2008 in order to know the time.
Insufficient hot water for washing basin and shower. The drainage system is bad, water run slowly when you are having a shower. Chairs and table is relatively dirty as they were locating in an outdoor area.
Comparing to the B&B and the other hostel, the Warwick hotel would be the best choice for accommodating in Cheung Chau. It’s good to escape from the populated Hong Kong for 1 or 2 nights.

Breakfast on the Balcony.
No tea making facilities in room.
From reading reviews, I expected this hotel to be a flash back to the 70's, and it certainly was, and I for one think it should stay that way. If you are looking for modern luxuries, go somewhere else. The staff were very friendly and I loved that you could have your breakfast on your own balcony at no extra cost. There is a small spa run by one lady, whom is very good and the price very reasonable. My only complaint was that I would have liked to have tea making facilities in my room, especially as there is no room service after 8pm. However, there was free bottled water in the room daily, which was most appreciated. For those of you who can appreciate a simple clean hotel with no frills, I would recommend The Warwick.

Great view, quiet location, relax atmosphere
Room deco, karaoke in the resturant - noisy
Remember the 3 things that are most important to a hotel: Location, location and location. Warwick has them all.\nGreat place to take a short break from the busy city life. It only takes less than an hour from the city to this wonderful island.\nLots of good food in the island to choose from. One minute walk to the beach.

Hotel easy to find not far of the pier if you have not heavy luggage - Bedroom quite correct and well decorated pleasant balcony - Comprhensive staff - Satisfied with breakfast and dinner
The metallic curtain of the dining room was half-lowered so we cannot enjoy the beautiful landscape\nSwimming pool not always available
We have no booking for the first night, there were many persons at the hotel but the staff found for us a bedroom. Very good and nice footpaths on the island, sandy beach with shower and changing room\nWe appreciate the animation of the harbour and the\nrestaurants of the small town

The good thing about this hotel is definitely the view to the beach and the ocean. For only 100 HKD (10 euro), we had roomservice breakfast on the balcony, which was quite an experience.
The service in the restaurant was a bit slow..
This is a hotel you should definitely have stayed in when visiting Cheung Chow. We think it is good value for money (if under 80 euros) considering the location and the view.\nWe heard that there are caves under the hotel with wall paintings of over 1000 year old, which we still have the discover (of possible)

Great location and great escape from Hong Kong hustle.
A little tiring going up the stairs to the hotel lobby each time you need something or forget something in your room.
A great little car-less island that has the charm of another place.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Some good B'N'B's are also on the island

There are many food shops along the way to market, local snack is your best choice. If you want to eat some seafood, please aware the price and bargain with the seller.
Hotel Feature Tip : If you don't want to dine out, may try their BBQ, price reasonable.

I would highly recomend the Warwick Hotel and Cheung Chau for anyone looking for a quiet break in their travels. I will be returning for sure.
Travel tip : When I booked , I was not aware I had to get there by ferry. It was most enjoyable, but make sure you have enough time for ferry travel, to and fro. Approx. 45 minutes each way.
