It is too expensive for a night , with breakfast not very good and staff not very nice in reception. Only the location is the best since good for relaxing in Hong Kong.

Relaxing break with good service

VERY hard bed. Mattress topper needed for Westerners. Shower was cold for a couple of days. Perhaps some printed instructions? Breakfasts were fine with good coffee. Despite some bad weather we could bring the balcony table setting inside and enjoy the fabulous view. Didn't use the dining facilities but downstairs was always busy. Would definitely return for another visit.

Generally the hotel is in a good location since you can see the sea and beach, and smell the salt water when just walk out to the balcony. But what's so annoying is a helicopter parking apron is right next to the hotel, which mean you have bear the loud noise day and night.

The hotel is a bit disappointing: not well maintained, beds are out of age and very unconfortable, employees not very friendly
But it is the only hotel on the island, so I guess they can continue having high prices and getting customers...

Great location but small rooms

Room is too small for 2 adults plus one four-year old kid. But the location is so good, we can view the ocean and sleep with ocean waves.
Hotel Feature Tip:
the supplies in Bathroom is limit, you could buy some from the supermarket nearby.

Great Ocean View From Hotel Room

i wasn't excepting much from my stay at warwick hotel as it is a 3-star hotel but i was surprised with my experience. the view is just amazing with a small balcony to make your morning a pleasant one. the cool breeze and the sound of waves calms you down completely. a very good place to get away from the hectic city life. for a moment, i forgot i was in hong kong. the staff were very friendly and very efficient. i would definitely make another trip in the near future. even the island residents were amazing.
Travel tip:
Don't have to worry about anything...Cheung Chau has everything from 7-11 to Mannings & McDonalds to great seafood resturants.

It was not our first time to stay at the hotel in Cheung Chau Island. We actually went to the island every year for a weekend doing almost nothing. But it is the main reason we go there: to plan nothing particular but simply walk around this place during the season with less visitors.
The hotel is often our first choice, especially in winter. It is always quiet than other places because it is well located away from the pier. However walking to the hotel with family and lover is nice and relaxing.
Since it was not a high season for local Hong Kong people, the island was comparatively quiet and it could be the best time to stay there.
Hotel is not new but quite clean and safe for family with little kid. Although the air-conditioning was not providing warm air, the temperature was alright.
Watching the sunset at the hotel room was always nice, especially with the background "music" of waves.
BBQ dinner should be a good choice if you had enough seafood for lunch.
Price was competitively higher than other B&B inns but it is a good idea to delight your family at the beautiful Cheung Chau Island once a year.
Restaurant Tip:
Seafood for lunch or dinner is a must in Cheung Chau Island but not necessarily at the hotel in term of price.
