Good room

By Wanchai standards the room was a good size and quite well apointed. Location is quite good. The big negative for business was how slow the internet service was a lot of the time.

the room is quite nice.. clean and simple. Lighting is good and the toilet/shower is really nice. The bed was comfortable and I liked their clean sheets. I wished their mini ref was better though, it really wasn't a ref, more like a container. I bought a carton of milk and placed it inside unopened and it spoiled after just 2 days! We had to keep going to the convenience store everyday just to get some cold drinks
The location is good, as it's in the heart of Wanchai, but it is still a good 3 blocks away from the nearest MTR station.
The hotel is currently undergoing some renovation so the lobby and the elevator was a bit messy.

Budget Hotel in Good Location

WIFI Hotel is a great budget hotel in good location. The hotel is close to Times Square and between Wan Chai and Causeway Bay stops. The hotel offers complimentary fast WIFI connection. Rooms are recently renovated. The room I stayed has clear glass walls, which does not ensure privacy using the bathroom.

The Wifi hotel is very well situated in Wan Chai right at the centre of Hong Kong Island. The rooms are renovated, comfortable and clean. At the time there was some further renovation work done on a few floors, so the lifts were constantly used by workers which caused delays and inconvenience. The only major drawback is that the promised WiFi internet access was so slow it was practically useless... for a hotel with the name "WiFi" it was particularly disappointing... If you don't need internet connection, this place is just fine, if you do - you'll be very frustrated... better find somewhere else.

Staff extremely unprofessional

I had a question about the hotel's cancellation policy and called the hotel multiple times from abroad. I was told that the manager would call me back the same day several times, yet received no response. I sent an email.
Upon checking into the hotel, I was given a receipt for my deposit. Then a few minutes later was asked to return it cause they had made a mistake in the documentation. Then they gave me a hotel room key. Again, they asked for it back to correct the number. I then went up to my hotel room, after five minutes there was a knock at my door. Apparently, they had wanted to fix the wiring for the lights in my room so I was told to pack up again and move to another room. One light in the new room did not work either. At this point the manager had not responded to my email I had sent almost 2 weeks ago. Their inability to perform their tasks and their negligent attitude is unbelievable to me. Not only were they rude to me (as a single young female business traveler), they were unable to provide me with efficient bare minimum service. Upon checking out that day, I had left my baggage at the reception since i had a flight around 21:00. Upon returning in the afternoon to collect my bags, I asked if there was a toilet I could use in the reception area (there is no lobby), they told me I had to go use the restaurant's next door. I asked where the reception staff use the bathroom they told me they just go up to a room and use the toilets there, however were unable to let me do the same. The extent to which they demonstrated their indifference is again in the attitutde in which they responded. I think the bathrooms in the guest rooms are not sanitized after the staff use them.
Although they provide quite comfortable modern rooms, I will never stay there again due to their poor service.

Wifi Hotel
Cheap and the location was OK.

The room was very small but that is normal for Hong Kong. The location in Wanchai was OK and close to transport. The hotel is undergoing renovations so it is sort of a construction site. Do not expect any help at all from the staff as they just have a counter on the ground floor but nothing else. The room was OK and very new.

This hotel was competitively priced with other similar hotels in the Wanchai area, and this is the best feature of the hotel. The rooms are small, but the shower is good, and the rooms are clean. At the time of my stay the hotel was under renovation, so there was some dislocation. Staff was indifferent. Overall a no-frills hotel good for the price.
