Hotel Feature Tip : Broadband Internet was very good - about $11 USD for 24 hours.

Had to have the printed voucher with me before I could get a room, was ill when I arrived so the hassle of having to go to their office to print it out took time and was not appreciated.
Travel tip : All the plugs in my room were for local shaped plugs, adaptors are at reception but you might need a few if you have laptop, phone and camera.

The hotel is in perfect location. Very accessible to the MTR and shopping area. If you want a clean and comfortable room at a good price, the YMCA Salisbury provides the best value. We were surprised with how the rooms were well kept. This hotel exceeded our expectation considering its price as compared to other Hong Kong hotels. Highly recommended.
Hotel Feature Tip : Eat dinner at the 4th floor restaurant for a good view of the harbor light show.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. But then again you don't want everyone to know about it.
Hotel Feature Tip : The hotel has an excellent gym and rock climbing facility as well as terrific dining rooms.

This was our first time in a YMCA accomodation and we were pleasantly surprised. We would definitely stay here again. I am very picky with the cleanliness and smell of hotel rooms and our room was great.
Travel tip : Subway just across the road, cultural centre, space centre and riverfront just one minute walk from hotel.

The hotel was fully-booked so we got a free upgrade to a full harbor view room. We enjoyed our stay and will come back on our next visit to HK.
Travel tip : Temple St. night market is only 1 station ride(MTR). Great food and shopping!

You will be pestered constantly to buy fake watches, handbags and suits in Kowloon. Just say have aready got them and they will leave you alone.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If want to see the light show instead of booking a 2 hour harbour cuise just get on the star ferry at eight oclock and cross the harbour. Instead of paying 120 HK Dollars or more it will cost you 2 HK Dollars

The location of the YMCA is right in the middle of where you want to be,next to The Peninsula Hotel and across the street from The Kowloon Hotel, and the middle of the shops, and very close to the underground railway into Mainland China, just perfect on location. Do not get this YMCA mixed up with the other YMCA
Shopping Tip : Everything you could possibly wish for, is at your front door, easy access to everything.
