simple hotel
walking distance to the taj mahal

i chose the hotel due to reviews stating the hotel was walking distance to the taj mahal as i planned to get up for the sunrise. the hotel rooms were basic but okay and the bathroom was not the best. the reception staff were also not very friendly or helpful when it came to providing any sort of information other than checking you in and checking you out. note checkout is expected at 10am.
the upstairs outdoor terrace was a pleasant and popular spot under the trees however was overrun by a group for dinner when i was there so i had to find somewhere outside. though there is nothing much located nearby where to eat.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
if you want to be one of the first to enter to see the sunrise, you'll need to be at the ticket counter around 30mins before sunrise

Rooms were ok but not very clean.The manager was one of the people that was always counting the money and not very friendly with the tourists.If you were trying to speak to him he would prefer to count the money first or talk to some of his friends and after he would answer to you..The food was expensive and average and the sheets on the room were not very clean and a lit bit noisy.

I liked my room, and the staff was very friendly. Comforatble terrace restaurant with good food and a cute puppet show.
Would stay there again and would recommend to others.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Easy to walk to Taj Mahal and buy ticket for entry. No need for rickshaw, but bargain down if you do use one.

Good locations but small room

this hotel is for sure not 3* but only 2*
small room, no cleaning next day, no furniture , no hangers, room without window,quite noisy
as i was single it is quite expensive for what they offer, but if we were 2 on the room than the price is ok
terasse nice, food good, waiters fine
