I booked this Hotel for a foreign colleague of mine. Hotel location is ideal if you are using Ahmedabad as a transit point to Baroda. It is near Express Highway and you can easily get out of the city.
Overall hotel is just like any other good business Hotel of Taj group. Great!

The Gateway Hotel Ummed Ahmedabad is purely a business hotel, Since it is a gateway hotel, please do not expect any luxury. The biggest plus is that it is just 1 km from the airport. Food & Rooms are decent, nothing extraordinary. It also provides transfer facility from airport to hotel & vice versa at a moderate cost. Swimming pool is a plus to relax after a day's work.

the service was good and the location was superb.The location is just 500 mts away from the airport which makes it the perfect hotel for businessclass. I will strongly recommend my friends and relatives to stay in this hotel whenever they travel to Ahmedabad.
