the best place we had in india!
great place to stay with nice people,great food,great view,execelent room!

we arrive at noon to a stunning view,big room that look like zimmers in europe.the owner mohan and his staf send us cool lemonade to our room to welcome us-it was a real treat.later we went to the restaurant for dinner-and the food -all was very good.in the room you have T.V ,great hot shower with lots of water...mohan is all about helping you with all you need.buses,train.air tickets,free internet-that is realy working...all the people who work there are helpful-papu,gopal and all the rest-are very polite and kind.actually -you do'nt need to go out-stay on the balcony with a breath taking view or in your room for the whole day.the place is clean and with many flowers-so it is very nice.

an overrated hotel in a beautiful place kasardevi

the standard room was very basic and worst of all the toilet has an indian seat. we had to necessary change to the deluxe room being the next category which was for against the tariff of 1200 for standard room. there is no parking provision, no proper facility for driver and the check out time is very inconveneint which is 10 am. on a holiday to such a place , the check out time should be standard as in 1200 hrs.
the food is just managable and a lot of dishes mentioned in the menu were not there. it so seems that they are more concerned about the overseas guests and cater to them during the season when these come. particularly tourists from israel.
there are other nice hotels/ resorts like imperial heights, kalmatia resort and some others

Deserves a comeback

The standard rooms of the hotel were very spacious. There was 24 hrs hot water service, even though electricity is a problem in Binsar. Outdoor area of the hotel was very prettily decorated and some beautiful music kept playing all the time making it the most relaxing place. We spent our mornings just lazing here, doing nothing and sampling the great food that the place had to offer- Israeli, American, Italian, Chinese; everything was extremely well prepared and presented well too. Did I forget to mention- it was also the most affordable menu in Binsar! Mohan himself is a very helpful person, takes to caring for all his guests, and even got us locally made rhododendron juice on request. The place is well located. Its outside the forest area, so you don't have to pay forest entry every time, which you would have to had you opted for one of the hotels inside the forest. Kasaar devi temple & some other points of interest are at walking distance from hotel. In all, the place is so good, it deserves a comeback!
Shopping Tip:
Mohan has a small store inside the hotel, where you can pick up handmade cosmetics- soaps, lip balms etc. He also provides these soaps in the restrooms and they are heavenly.

Walk in any time of the day, and you’ll find that time takes on its’ own pace. Post sunset, the Café takes on a different flavour with guitar and Barbeque night for groups on demand.
