The hotel was very pleasant - old classic style within its own grounds. Very centrally located, within walking distance from restaurants, shops and bars. There was building work going on at the hotel at the time, mainly involving guest rooms being refurbished, but this didn't disturb my stay. I'm sure I was given a room upgrade, it was very large, airy and pleasantly furbished with cable TV channels and good wifi.
