Lovely homestay, wrong location

we booked here because agoda showed it as being walking distance from bikaner railway station. we walked around for over an hour before giving up and getting an autorickshaw to the address. it turned out to be 5km away in lalgarh in a quiet housing estate. the family were lovely but it was really inconvenient to get to/from anywhere. the internet wasn't working either which was an added inconvenience for us.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Deshnok's fascinating Karni Mata Temple (rat temple) was an easy 30 min bus ride away from the Bikaner's south bus stand although it's not for the squeamish - rats running loose all over the place!

I could not stay as it seems the hoel was full inspite our booking. the owner refinded me only Rs 640 al though I paid Agoda Rs 800. They deducted the commission to Agoda.
I could locate the hotel after lot of search as it is located in a residential location without any signboard. It seems the entire operation of hiring out to guest is unauthorized. Even the neighbours were not aware of a operational guesthouse

Lovely place to stay in a family house

guest house is located not in the centre of bikaner, therfore place is not noicy. actually you will feel real family care of the guests during staying at their home. the room was clean and the bedclothes especially perfect. owners offered very nice and tasty food made right by themselves in front of us. it is a place to enjoy rajasthani hospitability.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The most popular place to see in Bikaner is its Old Town with Junagarh Fort. Here it is possible to feel the breath of the time centuries ago, to admire the great architecture and paintings on the walls. Fort offers the greatest views on the surrounding city area.
