I cannot remember how many times I stay in Ginger. It is economic for sb like me who will stay in Chennai for severtal week to live in Ginger. So once I come to Chennai, I will choose Ginger only. Staff all know me now, and they are very nice. A good choice for business people in Chennai.

the hotel was close to iit madras, location of a conference. the niveau of the hotel rooms is ok, i got help if needed. changing money was not so easy as it should be with a hotel with many foreing guests. everything is in good condition but do not forget maintenance to keep them so.

It is plesant experience to live in Ginger, every time I go to Chennai, I will live in Ginger, because it has a multi-cuisine canteen downstairs. And I can eat Chinese food also, of course Indian food. I already become very familiar with staff there.

You should take tooth brush and paste, and also slippers by your self. And also the room with French window seems larger than the one only with small window.

Difficult to beleive that its a TATA enterprice
Third rate, worse than a cheap hotel

Booked 3 weeks in advance, but when I called from airport the reception said that there is no booking on my name - This was the first of a series of shocks.
After much convincing and showing the printout I was alloted a room, and then a series of shocks
Torn and dirty Towels !!!
dirty and yellowish bed sheets
broken and hanging electric fixtures, in one board a switch was missing and there is a hollow blank space !!
Bathroom shower heads all leaking, the hand shower is removed
WiFi never worked. They informed that I will get my ID and PW over sms, it never came. When informed they asked me to wait till next day 10am, till TCS opens office , and check out time is 12pm!!
Will never go back again

place hard to find.since it is on the 11th floor of a complex half the people around did not know there was a hotel there. half he staff did not have a clue how to run a hotel. at midnight a security personnel was having a long dawn argument with someone over speaker phone. i would not recommend this place. no chance of satisfying your hunger is you arrive late and hungry.

quiet green area but far from the main road

i stayed at the hotel for five nights while having a business trip in india institute of technology (iit), madras. i would recommend this hotel to any person who plan to have any activity with the iit. the hotel is located next to the campus that i can easily walk to the office. however, you may find that it is quit far away from the main road and in the remote location. the room was neatly design, equipped with all necessary thing you would need for your business trip. internet is fast and free. however, the complimentary breakfasts were not up the the standard and contained only local food and toasts.
