had a very good experience from checkin to checkout. the staff are quite courteous. even in mid night, the service level was pretty good.
the food is pretty good, especially, the buffet break fast is very sumptuous.
free wi-fi with a decent speed has added a lot more value.
hotel is little bit old and i could see the reflections of it in the room some times.
on an overall basis, i would recommend all to stay for business or leisure.

the hotel is located in the prime area of chennai city and on the road which leads to renowned marina beach, one of the largest beaches in the world. near to the hotel there are several shopping areas for gold and diamond jeweleries in the locality of stella maris ladies college. another shopping mall named chennai city centre is located within one kilometer distance from the hotel towards marina beach. there you can shop for best brands and the mall also accommodate cinema theaters and several food court.

I stayed in Savera as it was centre of all the business I needed to attend. Got a great deal on the booking through agoda. It's a very good hotel with almost all the amenities like different restaurants , swimming pool , a night club ,gym etc. Food in the roof top restaurant is specially good. Room Was clean but the bath Tub in my room was slightly old and worn out. The only drawback of the hotel specially business travelers is they don't give any bill or bill breakup so if you are suppose to claim the money for your office its becomes a head ache as many offices does not approve the receipt from agoda.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Do eat once in night onthe rooftop restaurant.

i have stayed at this establishment on 4 different occassions now,and i know exactly what to expect.the service levels are excellent.the most important to me is cleanliness,hygiene,the rooms are clean...truly.as a frequent visitor to india i can confirm to those that are still looking for a good hotel that this hotel will not disappoint.the breakfast is acceptable ,there is a wide choice ,western,south indian and north indian food available.what also makes a fantastic hotel is the staff ,they are really courteous,always eager to help.i will return

Absolutely the worst hotel one can ever opt for. Considering that I was there for just the night, how bad could things be? The food was over priced, toilets looked like they were last washed in 1935, the hotel personnel attire made you feel that you were checking into a half star hotel. Checking in process is cumbersome and they still have journals for entry as opposed to facilitating a seamless checking in process.
