Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Excellent Value
High quality at a good price
8.3
This is a good quality hotel in an area convenient for the 2 Malls. Staff were very helpful, cheerful and efficient.
We would recommend the Airport pickup service and the Hotel car for tours. They use modern, clean air conditioned cars with very safe drivers, which you need in India.
All meals were of a very good standard and value for money, with 3 resturants to choose from. Wine was expensive, but local beers cheap. The pool is functional and there is a gym and spa.
There is free WiFi in all areas.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Visit the temples in Mamall-Puram, 60 kilometers away.

Good stay but hotel staffs need to be careful
5
It was a good hotel to stay. It was clean, well illuminated. When I first came to reception one staff ask me to show immigration clearance. I was surprised as I had never been asked such things in my life when I had visited foreign countries. I replied no such thing you need as it is a matter of immigration. I also found price of food mention in the menu but taxes are written. More than 100% taxes came on the actual price what should clearly be mentioned in the menu.
Travel tip:
Be careful while purchasing foods and liquor in this hotel.

One of the best places to stay in Madras
Room was nice and clean with enough space
8.3
It was a wonderful stay and seems to be in the centre of the city, as three wheelers charged all most the same amount for all the places that we have visited.
Nice food and clean room with enough space. I would recomment this hotel to all my friends who will be visiting Madras in the future.
Restaurant Tip:
Nice food in both Restaurants.

Close to shops and excellent food

This was good value and food was great. The room had a musty smell but apart from that it was a good choice.

overall experience was good. the room was comfortable and the boys were very courteous and helpful.
the airconditioning in the hallway and the elevator was very poor and the breakfast hall was filled with mosquitoes. however there were no mosquitoes in the room which was a blessing.
the breakfast was very unhealthy and in poor taste. even the basic idlis were below average and the idiappam and uppuma was too oily. people who travel obviously stay in the hotel and if they eat such oily and unhealthy food it is definitely going to affect their health and that was what happened to us.

I will surely stay the same hotel when I come to Chennai.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The Chinese restaurant at the top floor is nice for good foods and nice view.

Pleasant Hotel with a Modern Touch
6.3
The hotel had given me a very good stay and the front desk customer service lady (Manager) who was posted from Bangalore not long ago was very helpful and professional. Her work efficiency and attitude was par excellent!
However, when I was checking out the next day, I had an unpleasant experience with the bell boy & front desk manager in black coat. when I waked out from the lift, the bell boy who is an Indian elderly men offered to take care of my one piece luggage. I politely declined yet he insisted. When I walked to the counter to check out, he and my luggage was not with me. The bell boy placed my luggage by the side of the front desk without unaware! I had flagged for a taxi to the airport as I only had 80min before the check in counter close at Chennai Int'l Airport. To my horror! As I was half way caught in the massive jam after working hour, I realised my luggage was not with me in the taxi! I had to ask the taxi to make immediate U-Turn back to the hotel brave thru the massive traffic jam again to pick up my luggage. Upon arrival, when I questions the front desk manager in black coat and that the bell boy should have kept my pulley luggage close with me instead of leaving it at the side of the desk! The Manager was very unprofessional. Without knowing the detail, he tried to find excuse to defend the mistake! So typical of Indian...That was my most memorable experience with the hotel.
