Excellent service on arrival. Staff courteous and well informed. Prompt service. They were kind enough to keep our bigger bags when we were asking a side trip.
Food was excellent. Bar appertisers were very tasty. Buffet breakfast and dinner was amazing as was the ala carte breakfast.
Found the taxi service too expensive and it was next to impossible to arrange an outside taxi, as we did not have an Indian mobile.
Wish there was a floor towel in the bathroom and a few extra towels
Excellent hotel in all.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
I wish I had made my taxi arrangements from abroad. We needed to to to Vellore and Mahaballipuram. There are only call taxis and it takes time for them to arrive. Hotel taxis were far too expensive. You need an Indian mobile to arrange it on line

its a good hotel but poor service.Had a problem with the door lock for 2 days but not done. I booked the hotel thru Agoda as a premium Room and they gave me a normal room with a lot of problems with the door lock and on my 3rd night in the evening they upgraded me with a premier room. and I dont understand why they spoil a good hotel with a v.bad service. They should re-imburse the difference in the room rate to my account.
Travel tip:
its a good hotel and nice rooms and make sure you get the correct room. The room service is good but not the housekeeping. food is good too.

We have stayed here before and enjoyed our stay again. The staff are friendly, and helpful. The hotel is clean and the general services are good.
Unfortunately the Agoda room confirmation was not there and we had to call Agoda in HK and sort it out!
Shopping Tip:
Close to Bondi Bazaar, and a short distance to Empire mall.
best way to travel is the adventure on a motor rickshaw.

clean, cosy and very nice people.

a few cons..same breakfast buffet everyday (stayed for 3 nights). Our rooms came with a bath tub, not so convenient for small children.

But very much disappoited regarding the Agoda non payment to the hotel it is very bad for us infront of every one I have lost my face. Agodi should pay as per commited payment terms and you are getiing our payment in advance.

lovely,comfortable hotel. easy to get around by autorickshaw. lovely breakfast and great that wifi was included. the restaurants were rather pricey but there was a very reasonable one close by in another hotel.

Worth it.Hotel looks small from outside but quite spacious and well designed. It was the city Chennai, messed up totally due to metro construction work. Decent breakfast spread.

Go to Express Avenue (EA) mall for shopping. Chennai City Centre has Fun City as kids play area.

Did not honour my agoda booking voucher

I presented the agoda booking voucher to the front office person who said he cannot honour my booking and asked me to pay cash for my room booking. I had to call the agoda helpline and had to wait for almost an hour before they gave me a room.
