žit was my first time visiting this hotel on a business trip. i was very satisfied with everything; except on check out they (tried to) charged me a beer from zodiac bar, which i did not visit at all. after insisiting with it, they (manager) changed their mind and i only payed for airport transfer - which with ruppes is a bit on the expensive side.

The Hotel is conveniently located in a place called T.Nagar, the shopping hub of Chennai City. The cost of stay in this five star hotel is just half-a-price than compared to other Branded five star hotels. This is my third stay in this hotel and their service has become more than better when compared to my previous years. The hotel interiors are well decorated, Housekeeping is excellent and they have 3-4 restaurants which serve best tasty food but little expensive. All the amenities are at par to International Standard. The Swimming Pool and Spa are very good and a value addition for this hotel.
Shopping Tip:
The hotel is located very near to the prime shopping area of Chennai called T.Nagar where you can all the things A-Z at one place. This place is more famous for Gold Jeweleries and Garments.

Initially we only have book the hotel for one night but stayed there for 3 nights, as the hotel is situated near the biggest shopping are in Chennai T-Nagar. Staffs are very good and the service is excellent.

customer service without a doubt the best i've ever seen. they seem to know what you need before you do.
Shopping Tip:
taxi to several favorite malls like express mall and spencer with drop off and pick up at time we liked instead of a set time made our trip go at our speed which was great. since i went to india for surgery at the apollo hospital, the hotel was nice enough to provide a wheel chair to me for easy travel at the mall which was just the best thing possible since my walking was still in process of healing. we spent 9 nights at the hotel, which also included a free breakfast which no not a skimpy one it was a full sized breakfast and included indian as well as american favorites and eggs any way you want them with many many other choices also. we also tried the chineese food at the top of the hotel which had a tasty selection of many foods which made everything marvelous, with a staff with smiles and service that didn't stop. in the evening there were two men playing music and sometimes singing while people were coming and going from the hotel, we enjoyed just sitting and enjoying the music to relax also.

Hotel is great, staff are helpful and polite. Issue I had was with parking. The wait time to get in and out of the hotel was too much sometimes. There was almost always a line of cars that were waiting to get in and we had to wait in a queue to get into the hotel. Also, parking lot needs to be better organized. There was a particular slot where pulling out was very difficult and you had to reverse the car for almost 100 meters to get out. Hotel staff wouldn't adjust and charge extra even if we overstay a couple of hours past check out time. It is full day's charge for early check in or late checkout which is unfair.
