Great service and helpful
The hotel was truly 5 star, with excellent furnishings and interior.

the hotel was fantastic. they had a continental buffet breakfast and it was excellent! however, it was almost the same food everyday and it would have been good if the breakfast had variety over the days. the staff was friendly and helpful and they were prompt in their service. we tried the spa services and they were good. the swimming pool and the gym were clean. the water in the swimming pool was a little too cold for my liking but for those who like swimming in cold water, this is it. overall, it was nice and i had no regrets. initially, i had concerns as to whether they would have 5 star service for the price i paid and they did! i also commented on the staff's service to the management

I had a truly great experience during my stay at Accord, Metropolitian. Everything from hotel pickup, to checking,checking out went smoothly.
There was a wide variety of food choice and international and local selections. Lunch and Dinner were equally good. Most of it all, F&B staff anticipated my needs and went the extra mile to ensure I had enjoyable meals during my stay.
Staff at all times were very helpful and ready to offer a hand and advise, right from the doorman who advised me how much will it cost to take an 'auto' to Mylapore to staff at the business centre who ensured I was able to use the internet, telephone operator who put connected me to a few international calls immediately.
Accord will be my choice of stay in Chennai!

Disappointed with cleanliness of spa & sauna/ limited gym equipment & pool. So never used these facilities although the hotel was chosen for this :-(
Breakfast was not included for this so called 5* hotel.
Shopping Tip:
Bargain with the locals : auto drivers, taxis, shops even If they say fixed prices.
The hotel has weighing facilities for luggage - well worth making use of this as heavy overweight fines occur in the airport.

5 Star Hotel with all the Pleasures

we were well receieved upon arrival, check in was breeze, with great front desk service. the rooms were very well kept with full amenities. the manager for the accord was a grat host, he made our stay in the accord extra special. my wife has a relaxing experience at the spa in the hotel. we had a great 4 nite stay with only positive remarks for the hotel. splendid, we will return!
Shopping Tip:
Shopping in T Nagar was a stones throw with a ride to Express mall only 10 minutes away.

It was a wonderful stay. Love the lobby area with grandfather clock and spiral staircase. The buffet breakfast spread was good unlike many other hotels. Centrally located. Will definitely choose this for our next visit to Chennai.

the hotel itself was pleasantly decorated with nice majestic looking interior especially the lobby. the welcoming drinks and cold towels were pleasant especially for those traveling quite a distance. the staffs were very helpful and friendly and the service was international standards. the hotel is located in a strategic location - far from the hustly and bustle of t nagar shopping area and it takes about less than 10 minutes drive to get to the main shopping street. the food served in the restaurant was awesome and i'd recommend ala carte for the morning breakfast as it's cheaper and you get to pick what you want.
we had a wonderful time during our 1 week stay there. overall, i would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to chennai!
