The hotel has a very beautiful lobby and extremely helpful staff. Breakfast was good, the rooms were spacious and generally fine, but starting to show their age. My colleague had to change rooms, due to the damp smell. While it was 5x as expensive as my previous hotel, it definitely wasn't 5x as good.

Hotel staff were friendly, the restaurants were very nice and reasonably priced. The rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Overall it was a great experience and the spa was very relaxing.

i really believe it is quite good for the price. it does not feel at all like india...
good service with friendly staffs, you can ask anything,
quite fast room service,
very clean and comfortable room,
very hot water which is more than enough to enjoy a bath tab... bed is comfortable and rooms are like as it is shown in the photo gallary. ...also they have much space to feel relax.
however one thing which makes it not perfect is the noise from the road as it is on the road side, you may hear a lot of noises. yet if you choose the room not on the roadside, it wont be a problem.
i totally recommend this hotel to anyone. you can feel so luxury with all the clean and well organised facilities and rooms with a good service (like... always they answer the phone at reception as well...) besides to a very reasonable location which is close to anywhere in the city. a bus stand is 1 minute walk from the hotel, and auto is also ready outside. it is a quite good location too.
food is expensive but we can eat something we can never get outside or india. so worth it.
i just wrote down below but do not go to the spa. then you can enjoy the great luxury time.

do not go to the spa!!!!
they are moneky sucker and bad.
i went there for foot massage but they sold me face pack and face massage at the same time, saying "it will be cheaper than your country, we can do at the same time".
they are bad. and they will suck the money. y
ou better go to some other place for such service.

I am a very regular Traverler to chennai and always widest at the accord because I find it convenient the staff friendly and the food at its restaurants very tasty.
The taxi service is not much friendly and unless you are attentive tend to overcharge
And the pillows were not upto standard
Travel tip:
Avoid traveling downtown in rush hours

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staffs were friendly and kind. The waiters at the restaurant were exceptionally friendly, alert and caring.

slow service with bad internet connection

the hotel was very clean but the internet connection was very bad. it would sometimes disconnect and have no internet at all. the best hot spot for internet in the room was in my bathroom. the resturaunts were nice and had good food. the location of the hotel was not that great. it was located pretty far from the shopping malls and other hotels in chennai. overall not that great hotel but very clean and affordable.
