Good location but overpriced
Right in the heart of the city, T-Nagar, comfy rooms and good food
7.7
we stayed for 2 days. the room was very comfortable and had all the modern ameneties one would expect. the selection of channels for the cable tv were not so great. would have liked more english channels in addition to the already existing local channels.
food selection was good but both me and my partner felt that the food was way over priced. we had better food and lower price at the nearby babbal dhaba. similarly the airport drop charges were also very high.
Shopping Tip:
close to the shopping centers of T-Nagar.

Wonderful Accomodation, Excellent Housekeeping
Rooms adequate. Housekeeping staff Outstanding. Tour Desk very good
7.7
1. Everything was good except that the Telephone in the room did not work properly and I paid for usage over 120 rupees.
2. Staff in in the Dining Room downstairs not friendly and appears reserved. On the other hand the staff at the Chinese restaurant on the 15 th Floor were excellent and pampered us with all the assistance and greetings and service.Bell boys and Doormen and the Lady Devi were wonderful.
Travel tip:
Nice and wonderful room and housekeeping great.

Luxury in the city
Great service, helpful staff
9.3
on a long trip, we returned to the hotel for one final night as a stop over before our flight. as usual the staff was very helpful with arranging transfers and the hotel restaurants always satisfy your cravings after a long day. i have checked out the competition in chennai, and there is no doubt the accord is the best value for money.
Restaurant Tip:
rooftop of the accord metropolitan has a chinese food restaurant with a great view of the city.

Well located, equipped with all modern comforts
9.3
The hotel is an oasis in the otherwise quite drab city of Chennai. The food options in the hotel are very good and offer a wide variety. The hotel also has free wi-fi services which is a great convenience. The staff is very helpful and were able to accommodate several special requests without any issue.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Check out Saint Thomas Mount for a great view of the city

centrally located.
all major attractions & shopping malls are nearby. pondy bazar is a busy platform vendors ridden market. can be fun. nearby marina beach & kapali temple are really worth visiting.
lacks outlets though the ones available are ok for short stay travellers. travel / money exchangers are located nearby. all in all value for money.

Great value for money compared to the competition
Centrally located, good service, very comfortable
9.3
As a business traveller to Chennai, I was very pleased with the services that accomodate working people. The business center serves its purpose, free Wi-fi all around the hotel, vehicles arranged by the hotel at a variety of packages, and the hotel prepared a very early breakfast for us on two days so we could depart for work. The room has all the comforts of its higher end competitors and offers a more competitive price. The restaurants are also of a very good standard for the city.
Shopping Tip:
If you want comforts from the west, Express Avenue is the closest mall and should cost you 100 rupees on a rikshaw.

this hotel is fairly non descript from the outside but on entry the large marble foyer talks of grandure. rooms were nicely done out and clean. this was especially important for us as the previous hotel we stayed in was supposedly 5 star but smelt of mould. chennai is a dusty hectic place and the hotel was a pleasant oasis in the centre .

Good restaurants & Attentive Staff
Royal Indianaa for Indian Food - excellent curry mutton, Pergola for Chinese, Season for Breakfast Buffet
9.3
At Season for Buffet Breakfast, request for Poori comes with mashed curry potato, good combination. Millet porridge also good & when we asked to see what raw Millet looks, the F&B Manager (tall, dark & handsome) promptly got a sample for us to see. Chinese Food as Chinese as it should.
Cons - We werent' happy with the Spa tho. We opted for their signature package, with proper strokes but done in a hurry. I could sense that they wanted to finish it fast so rather than being relaxed, we were stressed. Moreover, walking through a locker room on the way to the sauna/steam room with men around ... very disappointing & not worth the INR 2250 spend.
Other than the Spa, everything else at the hotel was superb.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
'Auto' INR900 for 4 hours hire, completed Little Mount Shrine, St Mary's Church, Fort Museum, San Thome & Kapalesshwar Temple.
Best Shopping Mall, Express Avenue
