Clean and polite and friendly staff
waited 30 mins for check-in, a/c in the room stopped working properly from 2 a.m, water leaked from shower area into the dry area making the whole bathroom & floor mat wet
Generally, the hotel is clean and staff are very friendly and polite. Drawbacks - we had to wait for 30 mins to check in when we were extremely tired and worn out after 2 days of long travel. Whilst the staff were polite, no one came to inform us why the delay was until we asked the front desk. We were advised that the hotel system was down. We felt that this was really bad as we should have been kept informed. Numerous apologies were offered though once we started enquiring. The second issue - the aircon (a/c)stopped cooling the room at about 2 am. When we complained, the Duty Manager immediately offered us another room. The replacement room had the same problem at around 4 a.m.! We were dead tired so just left it. We asked to speak with the duty manager at 8 a.m. but we were sent a cake with "sorry" message on it!!! We had a bad night sleep / no sleep and were meant to travel again the next day. We insisted and the duty manager came after 30 mins saying that he had been checking on the aircon problem. The bathroom was clean with the only drawback that the water leaked from the shower area to the dry area making the whole bath wet. We informed front desk - although we knew that this was a structural / construction issue and could not be resolved immediately! The staff were always polite and apologetic but suprisingly we were not offered any discount for the room but the hotel arranged for free transport to the airport after all this. We are not too demanding type so we thought that this was a good gesture from the hotel and the least they could do after a bad night there.
