Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

the most enjoyable experience in India

It's on the edge of the town of Lynmouth, which is all thatch and rushing water, tea cakes, and postcards of Exmoor ponies. A water-powered funicular railway rocks up to Lynton, 150m above. Below, the sea roars in over spits of Bristol Channel pebbles.
The hotel has terraces, Alpine gables and the best view for miles, though it was a conservative old fuddy-duddy of a place before Martin Miller bought it and – at lightening speed – "Millerised" every surface.

Good hotel and great location
9.3
A good 5 star hotel, centrally located in the heart of the city center. Very good location for shopping and nearby to some famous boutique and good restaurants. Ideal for leisure and business purpose. To obtain discounted rates book through Agoda. The hotel rates are actually very expensive if you book directly.

Great location and great food
8.7
The hotel is right at the heart of Chennai City Center. Our stay was very pleasant. The rooms were great, the linen clean, the staff courteous, the breakfast great. We had an unfortunate incident (our child hit his head & needed stitches), and the hotel staff went out of their way to help us. Overall very happy with the hotel.

The check in was fast and easy. The staff always helpful. Food in restaurant was good and the view from the Rooftop restaurant was brilliant. The laundry service was prompt. Easy to get auto to move around. There's a Buhari restaurant 2 mins walking distance from the hotel and food was really good. Overall we are very happy and will definitely stay again.
Shopping Tip:
T Nagar is 5 mins away and Express Avenue ( the new shopping mall ) is about 15 mins away.

"Dont be fooled by the looks"
3.7
At least they didn't deny they had problems with service when confronted. Only problem was they never did anything about it. Room temp was set at below 18 c and couldn't change. Spare blankets came with black stains all over. Forget asking for assistance with a taxi, we waited 4 hours at reception and no one could help (there is many more incidents that are management related that I could mention). Basically they cater for Indian tourists that don't understand western standards of service. Fake 5 star.
