Superb cold air-conditioned rooms. Clean and extremely quiet. Beautiful poolside, makes you forget for a moment that you are indeed in MAA.
Bar area is too small & dark. The coffee house is not condusive for business drinks/discussions as it's too warm!
Looking for cool chic in the heart of MAA - The Park is your answer. Moderately priced, the rooms are great for short layovers. Pamper yourself at their gorgeous poolside - lazing around and forget about the traffic jams in MAA.

well located, great breakfasts and quirky in parts
its showing its age - paint chipping in places, floors a little uneven
were there only for a night before driving out to pondicherry so basically used the hotel for a good night's rest. the beds were great, the pizza amazing and the swimming pool really nice. The walls of the rooms may need a lick of paint though.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : go to pondicherry for the weekend. Its a really nice drive along the coast and only 2.5 hrs away. Charming little town with great food, wonderful restored old hotels, antique shops and Auroville nearby if you are so inclined.

good location, fantastic Thai Restaurant, Residence Floor is excellent
communications between staffs are really lacking, consierge does not revert of availibity of vehicle, rooms are wearing out..
the property is situated in ideal location on the main street. hotel has the most frequented pub and discothque... young crowd. rooms are wearing out even in the Residence floor!!

Its location and the leather bar
their rooms are not good enough for five star standards and the food in aqua is pathetic
This hotel is located in the city centre, thats only thing good about this hotel, it can be given only 4 star rating. The staff's are very helpful. Their rooftop restaurant AQUA which i tried was totally pathetic food is not worth the money you are paying for.

Oasis in the hustle and bustle
Paid internet - why don't hotel managers get the message, internet is like electricity and water and should be included in the tariff.
Drinks prices in the bar are ridiculously high
A very well kitted out room with diligent and attentive staff. Breakfast is a highlight. The only doubt is that the bed may have been too soft - obviously meant to be that way but for we firm bed sleepers I sunk so low I had to put up the periscope
Hotel Feature Tip : Make sure you look at the menu before ordering drinks at the ground floor bar. Premium prices are okay but I think these go beyond - especially since my single beer although cold was lifeless.

Does not correspond to the promises - nice furnitures and decoration but finally unconvenient for business travellers.
Staff is very nice and friendly but not always working with professional skills - cleanliness of the room is also apparent: clean room but grey curtains (supposed to be white) and walls not always clean.

its accessable place from the city, and not so far from the airport.
service is not nice, cost performance isnt nice either.
Suprised the room wasn't cleaned yet when I checked-in at midnight. also suprised at night was so noisy in the entrance, because there is the bar next to it.

After I had checked out I had to catch a late night train to Goa. I was sitting in the huge lobby lounge when noticed by the Assistant Manager (No, I was not misbehaving). He insisted that I use a spare guest room for a couple of hours because I would "be more comfortable" - no charge for this super late checkout!
