Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Room was ok and bed comfy, relatively in the downtown. Friendly staff.
Bathroom too small, swimming pool also small and closes in early evening.
I wanted a bed in a hotel for a reasonable price and I got it. Breakfast starts at 7am but when you go there at 7am, nothing is ready yet so try no earlier than 8.Food selection was ok, nothing fancy but you will not be hungry.Room was clean, pretty spacious, with good air-conditioning.TV programmes selection very good. Free newspaper and one bottle of water/tea/coffee.

Limited breakfast spread. Some of the lights on the walkway to my room was not working.
The hotel was value for the money. Very clean and comfortable. I slept well. The breakfast was a little dissappointing. Should introduce more items. The function room being at the lobby floor, was a little noisy with loud music on the 20th September. Normally guest would prefer some soft music. Since India is rich with culture, it would be good to introduce some life performance for guest to relax in the evening.
Travel tip : There is a hospital just beside the hotel; just in case!!!

Clean, good amenities, great showers, fitness center with state of the art equipment, great masseuse on staff, good selection of food.
Not many places to just sit and relax, restaurant service can be very slow, a free computer at the business center is not always reliable.
My friend and I had a very positive experience at the Pride Hotel. You can't beat the value for the price. It was a first-rate hotel with wonderful service overall, very safe, great amenities, cleanliness, quiet which can be rare in the Chennai city center, and wonderful offerings for relaxation and fitness. I would definitely return!
Shopping Tip : There is a great hospital pharmacy right next door, so should you need anything, it is easy to access. It is also close to Spencer Plaza (Chennai's big mall), Poompahar (the local government-run fair trade craft market), and a great book store!

The people that worked there are amazing and so caring. It was my second visit because they are so nice and helpful.
Fresh salad when I asked not to have it.
The room was clean and it was very nice to have woodenfloor. I got a bit sick and they let me have the room 2 extra hours without extra charges. Everyone working there is so helpful and caring. They make you wanna come back.

Nice staff, newly renovated rooms, good Indian breakfast.
A bit far from the airport (about one-hour drive), no bathtub.
Nice staff and newly renovated comfortable enough room, but I was disappointed about not having a bathtub as we travelled with our baby. They couldn't organize a cot for our baby either. The buffet breakfast was really nice, although very Indian. We asked the reception to organize a taxi for us to the airport the next day, and they charged us almost three times as much as the airport limousine taxi cost us the night before. The hotel is also quite far from the airport. It took about 1 hour by taxi. We booked the hotel thinking that it would be closer to the airport, so it was a big disappointment.
