Good location but rooms are not clean

Hotel is very close to the cricket stadium. The marina beach is also 15 min walk from this place. But the road around the hotel and the rooms were not clean. There were cockroaches in one of our rooms. The bed sheets had stains and the house keeping didn’t change it. I told them repeatedly but no result. The staffs were very helpful. We had an issue with our booking and they helped us to clear it out. No internet connection in the room. Foods in the restaurant were very testy. We enjoyed it a lot.

Hotel is greatly located but rooms are not like the pics! It is clean, I mean, to their standards, not mine. My sheets were not clean and were never changed! The towel that was given to me lasted for the 3 days. They do come to room every day and clean it, broom it, etc. but no new sheets. The staff though is amazing.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
really, just get tuk tuk, it ends up being cheaper than booking taxi with hotel as they will charge you more... you just have to haggle with th etuk tuk drivers, they are all very nice... I went on a day trip to Pondicherry and took tuk tuk to Bus Terminal and then normal bus down to Pondicherrry - it only cost me 120 Ruppees (2 POund lol). Hotel will book you a taxi for groups wich cost you 2600 Rupees. Because I was on my own i would never pay such and to be honest th ejourney down on the bus/coach with my backpack is amazing, and yeah, you only really need a couple of hours in Pondicherry (I did hired a tutk tutk for 3 hours there and the driver took me everywhere. It's a nice day out of crowded Madras).
Chennai you can do it in 2 days, depends on where you want to go. Go tot the beach at sunset, it's amazing, on saturdays in the evening ti seems that there is always some kind of festival goin on.This was my frst time in India and I come from UK but live in Bangkok. I must tell you, The people make up for all the poverty and misery you will see on the street. The Hotelis ok for Chennai.

Stayed two extra days due to business. Both veg and non veg restaurants. Room service and Laundry very quick to respond. Found food locally good alternative and cheaper.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Within walking distance (20 min.) to beach.
