This is the sort of hotel that makes all travelers feel they probably need to appreciate others they have visited. This make all the more disappointing as it appears to be affiliated to the wonderful Castle Bijaipur. On the plus side, the rooms are large - although without any character. The air conditioning works well, the bathroom is adequate and the breakfast is sustaining. However, the plentiful staff seemed indifferent to the dust and grime and only added to the sense of a forlorn hotel.
Off the street and with a garden.
Sense of disinterest from staff.

This hotel is relatively basic, but clean and well run. The staff proved extremely helpful, even taking us to the station when we had a very late train to catch. The restaurant was good with a wide range of dishes available. The hotel is in a good location, not too far from either the bus or train station.

We booked 3 nights at the Pratap Palace Hotel. After reading a description we were looking forward to a relaxing time is a high quality hotel. We were shocked by the rudeness of staff. They made us feel like we were in the way. It was very expensive as well. The hotel lacked any soul or character and the hotel was generally in a poor condiction with drab rooms. After two nights we decided to leave even though we have paid for 3 nights and couldn't get our money back. If you want my advice go to one of the hotels closer to the fort. At least the staff are friendly of the other hotels and there are other places to eat. Give the Pratap Hotel a wide birth, it's awful!!!
It's probably the best place in Chittor. But that's not saying much!
Rude staff
Soleless hotel
Drab rooms
No hot water
Very expensice £78 for 3 nights!!!
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There is a grand fort in Chhittorgrah, but that's about it!
