Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Clean rooms, courteous staff, ecologically friendly, close access to one of the most beautiful walkable beaches in the world, Cherai Beach Resort Cochin has plenty of bang for the buck. Close access to a multitude of shops, bars, and ice cream stands, one could easily chill here for a week without getting bored. Security is excellent but the resort is not ensconced away from the community, a huge plus for the inquisitive global nomad.
Restaurant Tip : black currant ice cream is awesome and in abundance here!

Relaxed atmosphere.
Great food.
Lovely garden with bungalows and on small islands, connected by bridges.
Good standard.
Great restaurant.
Better/faster internet facilities are needed and perhaps more activities, as the area is a bit isolated.
At this tranquil place, you will find everything you need to kick back and relax. Nestled between the beach at the Indian ocean and the river system (backwaters) on the other side, you will get a nice bungalow in an well-kept garden. If you are lucky, there will even be a little island with your own private hammock. It's great after visiting a hectic Indian city. For thrills go to nearby Kochi, have a trip on the backwater or just grab a local bus for an adventurous drive through the villages. The restaurant is great, the staff are very helpful and accommodation and food is cheap, compared to Delhi for instance - enjoy.
