Charming, great view, very attentive staff. With only 4 rooms, it's very quiet and private, a little like your own home.
A slight lack of hot water.
When I thought of coming to Darjeeling, this is exactly what I pictured. Charming, with the colonial history and a fireplace in every room. Just lovely. It's much more like being at home than in a hotel. The food is great and the service is very attentive. The location, just far enough from the center without being too far, was also perfect.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There are two primary schools near the hotel and it was fun to listen to the children singing and playing. They also posed for pictures at recess.
