Excellent location and vicinity to quaint little Tibetan restaurants and shops make this a fine hotel for leisure travelers wanting to get around on foot. Fortune Resort Central is located in an area surrounded with great food and things to do in the area, especially some of the Himalayan tour excursions. Worth visiting are the Tiger Hills, Senchal Lake, and the Japanese Peace Pagoda. For some shopping head to the Mall Road, where you can purchase anything from clothes to handicrafts. And if you are into good coffee or a bit of peace in the garden-style lounge area, head over to the coffee bar for a nice hot cup and find a nice seat to relax. Or, if you prefer, enjoy some fine hot Tibetan and Indian cuisine at the hotel restaurant. For getting around you can't beat this location, and some good food and reasonable rates sweeten the deal.

Great position, good room
Noisy. Given terrible room first night but changed after complaining
We were given a terrible room the 1st night, mouldy, dirty and extremely noisy next to children's playroom. Room we were moved to was excellent. Restaurant very good.
