With its traditional Goan architectural style, the resort provides 103 tastefully-decorated rooms, and a convenient location by the beach. Located in Varca Village, the Club Mahindra Varca Beach Resort is 30 km from the Dabolim international Airport, and eight km from the Madgaon Railway Station. Staff were courteous and accomodating.
The facilities were clean. HOwever, the bath drainage were not flowing well - but the staff immediately attended to the complain.
The foods were mostly Indian, however, we were offered foods other than Indian such as sausage, bacon and ham which to our delight filled our hungry stomachs.
The location - along the beach which is just a few meters and minutes walk.
The taxi fare were overpriced. A one hour ride from the hotel to the center - which is margao would cost 600 rupees and addtional 50 every hour thereafter. there was an alternate transportation offered - the motorcycle which is rented for 200 rupees for one day. But we have no helmets, we have no driving license, we do not know how to go about the area.
