The Coconut Grove Hotel is 12km from the Dabolim Airport and 10km from the railway station. Set amongst coconut groves, the four-star hotel is located just 250 meters away from Betalbatim Beach in South Goa. quite large rooms with good air con and fans also with flat screen tv with satelite channels.lovely well tended gardens. very friendly and helpful staff. the beach was only very short walk from the hotel. beautiful white sandy beach with beach shacks serving cheap good food. life guards on beach all day. restaurant food was varied and reasonable price.

swimming pool very small breakfast was adequate but could have been a little better.

coconut grove is a very relaxed hotel. It is secluded where it is but if you only want to relax on the beach like we did then it is just right. The beach is beautiful with lovely cooling breezes. There are several beach shacks with sunbeds you can use all day if you buy drinks or food from them. The food and drink at the beach shacks is good and cheap. the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite large, with television, air con and fan, they have a fridge/mini bar and the prices are low for a hotel. The pool is very small but for a quick cool down dip it is fine. if you go to the hotel email them about a return taxi from airport as this works out cheaper we found out; 800rupees return.

Nightlife Tip : if you do go to one of the beach shacks in the evening take a torch as the path back to hotel is unlit.
