Located on Candolim Beach in North Goa, the Lemon Tree Amarante Beach Resort is just 250 metres from the beach. The resort is less than an hour from the international and domestic airports. The resort has been designed to evoke the poetry, history and romance of 15th century Portugal. It creates an ambiance which is visually stunning - with medieval oil paintings, artifacts, tile work, heraldry and stained glass set amidst a lush green environment and calm water bodies. The resort offers 65 beautiful rooms and suites. All ground floor rooms provide access to a compact private garden. The six heritage rooms and suite, housed in a century old Portuguese mansion, have been restored to their original glory and appointed with all modern amenities. Several on-site dining options are available for guests. Other facilities include a spa, fitness center and kids club. Very good location, close to the beach, near to restaurants. Friendly personal.
Dirty floor in the room. It took 5 minutes before the feets were black. It became better after complaining. It is a little bit unconvenient to go through the restaurant every time when you will go to your room.
Normally you say the first impression last. If it had been like this for our stay in Lemon Tree it had been a catastrophe with the dirty room.. The personel really tried to work up the situation and on the long run I'm satisfied with my stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go to the beach. Never takes a seller in hand because than you are caught. Use shack 11 for your daily visit on the beach for the food and friendly personal.
