Comfortable stay but no balconies or room view.
Clean suites, lot of old wooden furnitue to peek around, nice garden.
Booked AC-suite for 2 nights. But later extended for another 2 days. Room was neat and tidy. Staff was helpful and attentive to our concerns. Room was quite spacious, although washrooms are bit tight. Suite is inside the house with no balconies or outside-view. TV reception was not good. You need to go out and sit in garden for greenary/ view.Location is peaceful and away from city madness. Restaurant is not run by owners and food is OK. Not many options available. Garden is big and nice. But too many mosquitoes at night. Overall good place to sleep overnight and spend early mornings.

We wouldn't recommend to stay there
The first impression
When you first enter the facilities you think wow. Well when you go into details, well different story. The room was smelly, rats are walking around, the bed and sheets are on the edge. Reception staff is rather rude (no hi, no bye, no nothing). Pool is nice, but due to winter the leaves are in the pool. Well this is cleaned frequently. Even while you try to swim in the pool. We wanted to rent scooter: 300 rupees per day. After 5 min when we wanted to seal the deal it went up to 400. "Because it is weekend!". TV is black & white only (colour appears now & then). We're very happy when we left. This was the worst place we stood in 4 weeks in India. By far not the cheapest!

Charming 400 year old home
Pool, atmosphere
Our first 2 days there were great, the collection of antiques and other memorabilia about the premises was intriguing and the general atmosphere of the place was really pleasant to return to. It is a fair way from the beach. Things went a bit pear shaped last day when needing a late check out due to illness and late transport. Electricity supply can be an issue.
