Nice bar staff. Great location - close to beach but off the main drag. Ok breakfast.

Major electricity problems that were attibuted to specific hotel. No working airconditioning. Staff didn't care about problems at all. Pool closes at 6pm! and sunbeds never available. No pool towels provided. TV didn't work. Uncomfortable bed.

What a shame. Santiago was located just off the main road in a great spot. However, the power was generally off in our room. It would be on at points during the day but would always go off at night time when you were trying to sleep. After 3 nights of complaining we were finally moved to another room only after we told them we were going to leave the hotel. Only then did they show any concern and moved us to another room. The new room had power problems too even though they swore it didn't. In fact, the ceiling fan actually blew up at one point which was scary to be around. It would not suprise me if the place burnt down as it was so unsafe. The hotel was full but there was no atmosphere. The music was some guy singing ABBA and was up way too loud.

Shopping Tip : Don't get ripped off by the lady in the shop on the road to the hotel. She preys on fresh blood - ie when your new and don't know how much things are worth. You can get Sari's of excellent quality at the market for as little as 200R not 2000R! Sarongs are between 50-200R on average and most other clothing about 100-200R.

Great breakfast and friendly staff.

Rooms are old and need an up date.

This is the second time we have stayed here. The hotel is in a very good location, close to shops restaurants and beach.

Restaurant Tip : Very good outdoor restaurant near Ronil hotel. They serve fresh seafood and make great Mojito's.

Central hotel close to restaurants, shops and beach. Great staff and fantastic buffet breakfast.

After a day of sightseeing and shopping I came back to the hotel to find that the pool is closed at 6pm. It would be nice to have it open for another hour or so.

Very central hotel, close to shopping, restaurants and beach. Fabulous Western and Indian buffet breakfast. The hotel is off the main road and down a lane, very easy to find. Transport is available at anytime for day trips and general sightseeing and the drivers really know Goa well. The hotel must have had many guests over the years, it is a basic 3 star hotel, clean, tea and coffee making, air conditionings and fans in rooms. No lifts and has 3 floors. Staff are friendly, efficient and speak very good English. I suggest trips to the famous Churches and South Goa beach.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : A day trip to South Goa beach and visit the famous churches in Goa.
