Beds a bit hard. Plenty of restaurants and the food is solid but not out of this world. A good all round international standard hotel. The beach is fabulous and the hotel has a nice beach bar. The pool is excellent. If you are looking for a small boutique then this is not for you but if you want a bit of a 5 star chain boarding whilst you are in Goa at reasonable prices with excellent service then this fits the bill. Strongly recommend hiring bikes at sunset and taking them along the beach. Makes for a very romantic evening.

Comfortable rooms, nice location, great food at the Fins Shack seafood restaurant. The beach was not quite clean, taxi service was 3 times more expensive that the regular prices and the hotel prevents other taxis to come pick up passengers from the hotel forcing everyone to take the overly expensive hotel taxis. At check in, we were forced to attend the Christmas dinner for 140 USD per person although it was not part of our reservation. Since the moment we stepped in, all staff was coming up with service offers at very expensive charges and there is always a lot of money talk, yet service is quite poor. Open buffet breakfast needs improvement. The facility needs to be cleaned and foods need to be refreshed more frequently. Overall the hotel is at an amazing location, with a large beautiful garden and one of the best beaches of Goa. The rooms are quite clean and comfortable. However, service and attitude needs improvement. In terms of service, we had to ask for our room to be cleaned about 7 times in order to get in cleaned only once throughout the 4 days we stayed there. Service was similarly not that great in the open buffet breakfast. Fins Shack seafood restaurant was an exception with great service and delicious food. In terms of attitude, we felt like the whole purpose of the staff was quite openly to get more money from all the guests with all the money talk that was constantly done, such as extra charges for meals, obligatory 140 USD Christmas dinner, etc. Also, hotel staff gave us incorrect information on taxi prices and nearby locations to convince us to take hotel taxis, which we later found out to be 3 times more expensive that the average town prices. When we asked taxis from town to pick us up from the hotel, they said the hotel doesn't allow us, so we were basically forced to take hotel taxis and were left with no other choice but to pay extra and get ripped off or to walk into town an a not so safe street. The hotel has wonderful facilities, such as the spa, however they are not maintained well, and the poor service and the opportunist attitude was quite misfortunate and was a disappointment. The biggest plus that made it up was the delicious food and service and Fins Shack seafood restaurant.
Travel tip : The close by town Kolva is wonderful for dining, walking around and shopping, and finding good fares for car services in Goa.

There was no possibility to stay at the beach,because the Hotel did not have any sunbeds and bar at the beach. We had to go to another place. Very nice stay - luxary Hotel - very quiet and very nice staff. The beach is fantastic.This is truely 5 stairs Hotel.
