This former palace, built in 1919 and set in lovely gardens, is now an elegant, traditional hotel. Close to the walled city and overlooking the Tiger Fort, the hotel provides spacious rooms boasting the grandeur of years gone by. The old walled city is nearby for sightseeing but the hotel itself is worth exploring. An old wood-paneled library filled with rare books, antique arms used in previous wars, and an old silver collection is a fascinating visit. The hotel has a pleasant pool to relax around and in the gardens guests can enjoy the occasional puppet show. The dining room has wall paintings and a stained glass ceiling. Do take a camel ride through the villages to get a true feel for this beautiful part of the world. Great environment and people responded to our needs.

No apparent. Rooms were beautiful.

I would encourage anyone who wants to taste of great Indian culture and hospitality. The folks there were so helpful.
