Located a couple kilometers outside of town, this Taj Group property is a mix of medieval charm and modern amenities. The rooms are fairly small, compared to the other Taj Group hotels. They are arranged in a square with a courtyard in the middle. This town is popular in the winter and particularly for the Desert Festival which takes place every February, and rooms are not easy to find during the time. One thing about this hotel is there is no shade from the scorching sun, so in the summer it gets quite hot. Naturally, the hotel staff can arrange Camel and Jeep safaris, accommodation on the sand dunes nearby and even a gala dinner on the sand dunes.
